Designed by the mic experts at Audix to handle a wide variety of applications and survive the absolute torture of live sound gigs, the new Audix I-5 is the ideal choice for snare, toms, percussion instruments, and can even handle the blistering SPL levels of electric guitar cabinets. Built around a bulletproof transformerless design and housed in a precision cast zinc-alloy case with a steel mesh grill (stick hits no problem here), the I-5 is a super-smooth dynamic mic featuring 50-16kHz frequency response and a very useable cardioid pattern with incredible off-axis rejection (>23dB) for exceptionally high gain before feedback.

Micro-D Overview
The Micro-D is a pre-polarized condenser microphone designed for many applications including drums, percussion, amplified cabinets, speech, vocals and acoustic instruments. Used in conjunction with 3 different types of specialized clips and 2 different types of interchangeable capsules the Micro-D becomes a modular sytem that can fulfill a wide variety of creative needs.

With a smooth uniform response over a frequency range of 40 Hz-20 kHz, the Micro-D is lightweight, compact, and extremely easy to use. Housed in an aluminum ring and isolated by means of a rubber shock mount system, the stock version of the Micro-D (model ADX20-d) has a hypercardioid pick-up pattern and is capable of handling sound pressure levels up to 140 dB.

The Micro-D operates on phantom power of 9-52 Volts and is supplied with a phantom power adapter, integral Dvice clamp, cable, windscreen, and carrying pouch. Low noise electronic circuitry and balanced low impedance output allow for interference free performance even with long cable runs.

Audix D6
In classic Audix style, the D6 will not disappoint anyone looking for a huge, clean, undistorted kick drum sound. The D6 is about twice the size of the normal D series microphone, and yet it is extremely easy to use and position. Utilizing the same low profile mounting clip as the D series mics, the D6 will work with the Dvice and D-flex clips, as well as a variety of other popular clips on the market.

The D6 has a frequency response of 30 Hz - 15 kHz and is characterized with a cardioid pick-up pattern. The D6 is designed to sound good in any position and it is not dependent on finding the "sweet spot" of the drum. The D6 capsule features the same legendary VLM technology that has made the D series percussion and instrument microphones very popular for today's live stages and recording studios.
