Super-2 Drumheads "A New Kind of 2-Ply Head"
They have great attack, projection and depth unlike any other drumheads. The patented Safe-T-Loc hoop prevents the head from slipping and the Sound Curve collar design provides "Responsive Tuning." With Responsive Tuning, one turn of the drum key and Super-2 heads react. A free tuning sheet is enclosed with each Super-2 drumhead.

Clear with Studio-X Ring: Focused, warm and punchy

With Aquarian's "Sound Curve" collar design, the bearing edge finds its own spot in the curve. No wrinkles even with loose tuning. Aquarian drumheads tune fast and easy... every time!

Due to constant vibration, conventional drumheads all have some degree of slippage inside the hoop, which results in de-tuning and lack of resonance and response.

Triple Locking System
Aquarian's unique "Triple Locking System" provides drummers with previously unheard of advantages in resonance and playability.

1. Holes are punched in the bottom of a "U" shaped channel which has been formed in the drumhead. These holes allow the epoxy to flow into the "Safe-T-Loc" channel.

2. The "T-Ribs" that form the "Safe-T-Loc" channel prevent the epoxy and the drumhead, from slipping and pulling away from the hoop.

3. The "Locking Shoulder" acts as a "stop" to ensure the correct collar height for the drumhead.

The new "Safe-T-Loc" hoop along with Aquarian's "Sound Curve" collar design provides easy tuning; great stick response; zero slippage inside the hoop; consistent sound; increased resonance and sensitivity; and the sound that drummers need and deserve.

Features:
Safe-T-Loc Hoop (patented) -- Prevents slippage inside the hoop.The head does not de-tune during a performance and will not pull out. Tuning is consistent and the head stays in tune.

Sound Curve Collar Design -- Allows the drumhead to seat perfectly on the bearing edge. Conforms instantly to any shell design. Tuning is fast, easy and more accurate.

Extra-Warm Drumhead Film -- Produces a rich, warm and full mid range sound on toms and more low end on bass drums. Eliminates the "ping" and "plastic" sound common to other drumheads.

Satin Finish Texture Coating -- Coating does not chip off. It outlasts all others. Extremely thin, it provides a more responsive surface for brushes and sticks. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Aquarian products.

Sound: The sound of this head is amazing! Deep, Rich, Mellow...it projects well and has just right amount of sustain..I have found the perfect tom head.After trying the Evans "EC"2 in both Clear and coated and also the Remo black suede I was afraid that the sound I wanted was just not atainable, and what I wanted could only be had with mics and tons of EQ...I decided to buy these and give it one last try..I was instantly amazed at how fast these tuend up, how nice a deep they made my toms sound all I can say is it was sweet! If you like that Power sound from all the 80s metal bands then this is your head!Its far better than the performance2 which sounds to dead! this head is a different animal with plenty of sweet deep tone! Feature: Extremely easy to tune and very responsive just as it says, 3/4 turn on the lug screws and thats it! This head works and shines in all its glory tuned Low! Ease of Use: Very easy Quality: I played on the head for a good solid week and there isnt a mark on them?? I have no idea what Aquarian uses for head material but it is extremely durable and I use a heavy stick (Vater XD Rock) its a very well put together head and should last for a long time Value: Definatly a good value! The Wow Factor: You bet you will want it, hey I am trying to save you money here from endless head changes like I did! Forget the EC2 ETC...This aquarian is what you want! Overall: Hopefully I never have to buy anything else, I love this tom head....It is perfect! Its "the one"...Trust me!
