I have used the IO Dock Since the original it works flawlessly. Alesis has created a dongle that works both for 30 pin and lightning connectors, so, I was totally familiar, did not have to learn anything new,I slid my iPad 4 into the IO Dock And it just works!!! (It also powers the iPad).Pretty cool huh!!
