"Native Chickens = Little Black Tank"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Well I think I'd be satisfied with this product to my grave... Like I've been satisfied with my 18-year-old Boss DS-1 I bought from my teacher years ago...
Sound
Hey lookie here, I traded my native chickens for this Little Black Tank... I had my Ibanez Saber in it and plugged it in my Roland Cube20x, and it sounds really clear... Real good, natural sound, even with low-end amps and guitars... I have used some of the other Zoom products, and by far this has the best tone and sound quality...
Features
Features? This one has all the features AND FX I need...
Ease of Use
I love to experiment... And its quite easy to get good sounds from this one... I already had my own personal tone patches from this one because it has all the features to modify and attain my own sound... Also, the manual is clear on its instructions regarding on how to use it, so people out there, you better study the manual because only dumb people dont read an instruction manual...
Quality
I just had it months ago, and I think I need to use it for a long time to test its quality... But it looks real hard to me, it will last long with regular use... I always clean it after use to prolong its good looks and quality... CARE + GOOD QUALITY PRODUCT = REAL QUALITY PRODUCT (remember this)
Value
This product is worthy of its selling price... I got a 30 percent discount on it... hahahaha!
Manufacturer Support
"... never had a problem with it...."
The Wow Factor
SEX APPEAL? It looks sexy, hehehe, and aggresive... I just love the design... I just love to sit in my mini-studio and stare at it for a long time instead of practicing... (senseless isn't it?)

"I didn't know low budget multi-effects could be this good."

I couldn't be happier with the zoom. I was not expecting a digital unit to be this impressive in terms of flexibility, and audio quality.
Sound
The sound quality on these new digital units are really impressive. Even just running to a pair of sennheisers, the amp/cab models are really close, with recording quality definition. Most importantly, the unit is very flexible, with good EQing. The super high gain - settings still aren't perfect for those that have discerning ears - but then again, neither are pods.
Features
More then enough amp models for me. They also put thought into the effects modules - though they might seem somewhat haphazard at first. For example there's enough flexibility to have 3 separate simultaneous Delay style effects. I also love the instant patch switching, and being able to copy patches to separate user banks. This one unit obsoleted my stomp pedals.
Ease of Use
You absolutely need the manual, to be able to make sense of the effects, parameters and logical routing of the effects modules. Other then that, editing couldn't be easier.
Quality
The main case is metal, so it should withstand gigging - but really the quality is more then good enough for the casual or home hobbyist.
Value
You can't go wrong with the amount of usable effects packed into such a tiny box, for a cheap price.
The Wow Factor
Looks very impressive, awesome features, awesome sound quality.

"The Amazing G2.1u at its best."

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
This thing rocks!! The effects sound great! they fit into my genre. The nice thing about this is the 10 simultaneous effects at one patch the WAH/EFX and the Module is separate. You can make Wah efx with flange or chorus even with dynamic delay and stereo chorus. When you compare it to others it may look like crap but the modules and effects inside that thing is wicked..I love this pedal annd i wont change it for any other!! But still the flanger and the chorus it sounds bad. Thats the downside.
Sound
This product is one of the best that zoom had ever made. Im just a kid but i know my G2.1u alot. This thing has alot of effects in it. The only effect that sucks is the flanger and the chorus, the sound is very digital but the distortions and the other effects rock.
Features
I bought my for P9,000 in the Philippines or $190, it doesnt include an adapter and a usb cable. The pedal is a very versatile machine. It looks mean and very cool. I like the pedal design the foot switches are awesome they click! What I like the most is the Led's. They look cool at night but sucks at day.
Ease of Use
It might not be the best and the easiest to use but it is a great pedal. You might need to read the manual over and over again to get the picture. but if your a great musician you can easily make cool sounds and effects on it and you can create 40 amazing sounds on your own. It is easy to customize even in the last minute. The only thing that i hate about this pedal is the flanger and the chorus it sounds bad. It is too digital. You've done it again Zoom!
Quality
I dropped mine several times it didn't break!! That surprised me.But still why would it break? It's made out of metal, sometimes the paint chip's off because of the bumps, i usually cover it up with marker.
Value
It's a hefty price to pay but you'll get the sound that you want! Honestly i never doubted my G2 i love it man!
Manufacturer Support
NEVER contacted them i had no problem ever since.
The Wow Factor
As they say looks can be deceiving it applies to this pedal. They say its ugly but when you hear it you'd probably change your mind! The color is cool but the paint chip's off, like i said earlier. I cant Make it out if i don't have this pedal, i suck at playing if i don't have it by my side. hehehe. no just kidding i can make it out without this.

"Former or current users of the 606: read this!"

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
One of these days I'll upgrade to one of ZOOM's more expensive products, like the one with all the on / off switches--it'll be more easy to use, i can see alreay. I won't get rid of this one, knowing what I know after letting go of the 606 before this one came. If you already have a 606, get this one and use them both to satisfy your desires of rocking out.
Sound
Sound is great: the Zoom noise reduction really helps eliminate fret chipping and string squeaking so the guitarist gets a hard solid drive, rather than squeeling messy sound. This product was supposed to be a step up from the ZOOM 606, which I had before. The sound quality is about the same but the addition of the cabinet simulator and the new overdrive sounds is great. I wish they would have kept some the old ones though.
Features
Something that users may find useful that I didn't see in the manual-- You can switch different parameters (chorus, overdrive, wah, etc.) on and off in real-time by turning the knob to the desired parameter : then you can use the patch changing footswitches to turn that module on / off. I like that there are two wah pedals to choose from, but the Vox beats the Crybaby a lot. The drum machine is a waste of time. I could have saved 20 bucks if there was no drum machine. The patterns aren't really useful for recording so for me its crap. The 606 had a cry modulation effect which was great but they took it off. Shame on you, ZOOM. All the other modulation sounds are great: there's a stereo chorus--(you need a stereo cable in your output jack to complete the effect) and phaser and flanger are good as ever. Again, the cabinet simulator is great with the Peavey 5150 and Marshall drive simulators.
Ease of Use
Using it is easy to fiddle around with, so you can use the different knobs to mess with the sound before you even read the directions. Having the knowledge of the zoom 606 helps, and the general process of editing and patch saving is mostly the same. The addition of Cubase could be confusing but I already had cubase for about a year now, so i couldn't give you any advice about it.
Quality
Seems pretty solid to me--I only use it in my home studio, so it never goes on the road. It'll last long enough for me to get sick of it and buy the next version of it.
Value
Great value, there's a lot of stompboxes packed into one unit. Some of them aren't great, such as the Boss od-1 or the acoustic simulator, but i would have purchased this product having known it anyway.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't needed it so far so I cant review this section.
The Wow Factor
It's a practical addition to my setup and I couldn't rock hard without it. other than that there's really not much else to say.

"Low Cost - High Sound"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Overall, this unit may not look like one of those BIG-BOYS of multiple effects world in terms of features, but it sure sounds like one of them... Loads of features, simplicity, beauty, user friendly, and its amazing sound quality keeps me satisfied with this unit... Frankly, I wish I could have the BIG BOYS of the G series (G7.1ut and the G9.1tt) but since I do not have that sum of money, I rely on their little brother to deliver the same superb performance they can give... I compared this product with other units of its class, but I chose this unit because it doesn't look like a toy and it never sounded like a toy either... I like Zoom, and I like their products. They make user friendly, feature-laden, and great sounding effects units. And the cost is low but the sound quality is high... As a summary, ever since I got this unit I never stopped growing as a guitar player and musician. It helped me grow in the aspect of tonal and sonic shaping with its tons of features and its ease of use...
Sound
The one sonic characteristic of this sound is, AMAZING... The sound quality is of great tonal response to every type of playing. From types of picks, guitars, way of picking, and techniques. Which is a great way for an effect unit to be expressive... So far, this product just doesn't help me achieve my preferred sounds, but it also helps me develop my tonal shaping skills... It sounds great by itself - be it live or in studio - but when combined with other units, it can be a very useful tool in improving one's sound... For the live versus studio sound, all I can say is that it still delivers its amazing sound quality in live or studio situations. And in addition to that, it sounds best when it is plugged direct-in or via the USB plug to a PC...
Features
It came out of the box not even with a power supply, that's too bad for me because of the hassle to buy a separate power supply for it. It came by itself, no accessories or any other item except for the manuals and the Cubase LE software (a big plus for me on the free software)... But the loads of features built inside it, makes up for it. Drum machine, tuner, expression pedal, and a power switch made up pretty much for its lack of accessories... Every feature it has have a worth in this unit, from the most minor ones to the major ones. It depends on the user whether he or she could utilize the features fully... For me, I just wish it had the power supply with it then everything is fine with me. All its features were great and very useful and they are all helpful...
Ease of Use
It's fairly easy to use. But like all multiple effects units, you got to spend some time reading the manual and some time tweaking with the unit itself... The interface? Yeah, the knobs were great and their configuration is a big factor in making it easy to modify each effect module. However, the LED display is sort of a turn off for me when I first started using this unit. But after some time reading the manual and some time tweaking with the unit, I got used to the whole interface that I can achieve my preferred tone easily without confusion... It is kinda easy to use this unit with other products given that you have a fairly wide knowledge on effects and sound shaping... Overall, it has a user friendly interface and it is fairly easy to use...
Quality
This certain unit is road-tough built with performance in mind... It is very reliable and I think I can depend on it... Only the expression pedal worries me, because it started to squeak due to heavy usage and its travel somewhat loses its sensitivity at certain points. But still, it delivers great sounding performance and its sound quality never deteriorates, now that's a road worthy unit... Overall, this unit will last a very long time because of its build and its high quality parts...
Value
Value? For a low price, I am surprised this unit delivers such superb performance... That's a great value for a low price...
Manufacturer Support
I never had problems with this unit, and I hope I won't... But I believe Zoom has a great support team and I can depend on it...
The Wow Factor
Appeal? Yeah, it looks great with its chrome knobs, chrome foot-switches and the chrome border of the LED display - a plus for me... With it's black color, simple aesthetic approach and its lighting buttons, a big plus for me - very attractive... Curvy, but not too curvy - a plus... And the sheer simplicity of its design and features - a huge plus for me too... Overall, this unit looks great as it sounds great...

"some praise, a gripe, and some advice on how to use it"

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
Again the only problem I have is in the UP or DOWN effect switching. It's definitely worth the price. All the stuff you have in there in single pedal form would cost a couple grand, then add in CuBase and it's a pretty nice little package. I recommend. There are a few similar pedals by digitech and behringer and boss and korg but this one definately does a lot more, isn't made of plastic, and comes with CuBase and a USB port, which none of the others I looked at had.
Sound
There's a lot of options in the drive module, and being able to assign the expression pedal to anything is really useful. I don't like many of the presets but I usually don't with these kinds of pedals, but it is very clear and a couple of them, especially the MesaBoogie MkIII and the Marshall Guv'nor are very responsive and can be used for very slight crunch to roar just by setting the expresion pedal to 'drive'. I didn't like the wah very much but all the modulation and reverbs etc are nice and clear and have enough parameters that you can saturate or just touch the tone with. It's good, but not as convincing as an amp simulator as I would like. It will do for a good demo plugging direct but there's something kind of brittle or sterile or something I just can't put my finger on makes me want to use it through an amp and mic it instead of plugging direct. But my amp sucks and so does my mic so direct is better than nothing.
Features
Came with adaptor. I wish all companies were that sensible. Again, the expression pedal being assignable is a real plus. The drum machine is kind of a joke, but at least its there so I couldn't give it a 10 but it gets a 9. It's good to practice with or lay down a metronome for recording to be recorded over later with real drums or a programmable drum machine (I ordered the Zoom MRT at the same time with this in mind). CuBase is a nice addition too. It is not an easy learning curve, but patience will let you at least use it as a simple multitracker even if you don't want to figure out all the mastering and sound editing stuff. The USB port is handy too because I plug my Mic or bass or drum machine into the pedal, bypass all the effects, and then I can USB my them into CuBase too instead of just the guitar.
Ease of Use
Here's where I have issues: Its easy enough to program. The big beef I have with it is that you can't cycle through to the patch you want and THEN click to engage it. It's just UP or DOWN... so if you use it live you have to store all the sounds you use in one song in a sequential order... if your song goes from 'clean' to 'dirty' to 'dirty wah' to 'clean' for instance you have to save the 'clean' sound twice so you can jump straight to it from the 'dirty wah' sound without having to back up over the 'dirty' sound first. This isn't a problem if you just go clean to dirty and back in your music but if you like adding more textures it takes a while to store them all in the right order. I was not very happy about this, but it is just a hassle not an insurmountable obstacle.
Quality
I haven't had it for long. But it is very SOLID. heavier than I expected. The interface buttons are all recessed so you don't have to worry about stepping on them accidentally, and the 2 main footswitches look pretty indestructable. I have yet to find out if the internal circutry will hold up over time, but my old 9000 from 1993 still works (kind of) if thats any indicator.
Value
For the price, plus you get CuBase (which is difficult to get the hang of but if you are patient it is nice) it is a great deal. If you are just getting started (or rebuilding a setup from the bottom like me) it can do an awful lot and spare your money to invest in other gear that you will need. No gear can exist in a vacuum, so its nice to have something with this much stuff going on in it for what some single pedals cost.
Manufacturer Support
I only ever had to contact zoom once, in the days before prolific internet PDF manuals,I called their U.S. distributor because I lost my manual and they sent me a new manual. No charge. No questions asked. Simple.
The Wow Factor
Zoom has a knack for making cool little compact things with way more stuff than you thought stuffed in there. It's very sleek, very 'efficient' looking. Much sexier than a big tetris-puzzle looking giant pedal board (harder to use, but definitely more stylin). Yeah its pretty sexy.

"Highly recommended at the price. Home users and learners will love it. Really good for recording. Want better, go for higher Zo"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I'll keep it always cuz: Small size, 2 power supply, virtually any sound can be made, the USB for recording, has a inbuilt Acoustic effect. I'll keep another: for weird sounds, multi tap delay, harmonizer, MIDI capabilities, more pedals for more control
Sound
The reverb and everything rock! Tweak your pickups though, don't be stuck at the neck one. Tweak your tone and volume knob also to achieve the sound.
Features
Cool. only the pitch shifters suck.
Ease of Use
Too difficult to remember the abbreviations used on the display. A bit complicated to get that sound. But in the end gives you many parameters to tweak around with.
Quality
Good built. The knobs should have been of some other type, they dont know where they are pointing.
Value
With this much price ($120 for me) nothing is better.
Manufacturer Support
The helped. I mailed a query, they replied next day.
The Wow Factor
It is an addition as well it looks a beauty. It definitely makes other similar pedals look average.

"One Of The Greatest"

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
- Before anything else, I would like to inform the others that I experienced this product with a stock Ibanez SA and a beefed-up one. Through all the years, I have upgraded my Ibanez with PAF Joe and FRED P'ups and some modifications on the knobs and parts. So this is a continuation of my experiences with this product. This product is good on stock guitars but is real great on beefed-up guitars.
Sound
- The sound quality is true to the tone and tube like in response even on stock guitars, I have competed in a battle of the band with this one using a stock Ibanez GIO. But it has become more responsive and whole since I got to use it with a beefed-up guitar. They respond well to the intensity of my playing. I have never heard this unit perform so well since I bought it years ago. I used this on a battle of the band situation, the tone is superb and real fat with tube-like characteristics. It cuts through the band and audience noise.
Features
- Basically if you notice the effects chain and features, it simulates is a basic one. From compressors to delays. It has the effects arranged in a general way, the way most guitarists tend to do. All the features are useful to me and they all do their job well. But the best feature this one have is that it has this ZFX-3 processor that makes the effects tube-like and analog in their characteristics and response.
Ease of Use
- It's fairly easy to get a good sound out of this one, but it will take some time to master the product. For beginners, study the manual thoroughly, you will need it someday. I always study manuals before I touch or use electronic products. When I use this one with other products, I only use it's delay and reverb effects. But in general it's kinda easy to use it with other products since it's just like a compact stomp box with input and output jacks, you can just chain it like any other stomp pedals. Very basic.
Quality
- The quality is good, real good. I had this unit for years and it experienced a lot of rough handling. I even spilled some juice and water on it and still it does well. I can rely on this much. I use this as a back up unit and as a main unit without any back ups.
Value
- It's worth the buy for this unit. You can rely on this one for a long long time. I was about to sell this one since I got my pedal board running but I realized that this product is a part of my sound, cannot be disposed.
Manufacturer Support
- I never contacted them since I never had any problems with this product.
The Wow Factor
- The black and chrome color theme says it all. It looks real good and tough unlike those colorful multiple effects.

Musical Background:

- I have been playing guitar for seven years.

Musical Style:

- I play Blues, hard rock, instrumentals and ambient music.

"SMALL IS BEAUTIFUL..."

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
The hi-gain distortion sound of this unit was introduced to me nicely over my tube amp. On the other hand, to make your solos sing well this unit just isn't enough fabricated. My Boss OS-2 Overdrive/Distortion pedal shows that the gap of sensitivity over my playing style is massive comparably to this unit. My disappointment on the 32-bit processor.
Features
The main reason I bought this unit is because it uses battery for its power. And it's compact and small too for loads of sounds. Just don't want to bring my plenty-lbs amp here and there. I put a lot of hopes to make it function on stages/gigs with little to worry on stage hassles. I've done three and the result is nice.
Ease of Use
The simplicity of the interface makes it quick to adapt on stages and/or studios where other player's condition matters on the atmosphere. The compact design is very much at guitar effect's best.
Quality
The solid build is indeed great.
Value
This battery/AC powered device is great for practicing with my guitar (it's drum loops are helpful). But a stage-scorching compact guitar rig demands more tone than this unit provides. Maybe tube-powered ZOOM floor products answers?
The Wow Factor
Small is beautiful... until the guitar solo part comes out.

"Pretty high-quality simple/basic multi-effects pedal worth the price."

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
I will probably add to it in the future. I dont see any need to replace it as of right now.
Sound
Great sound.
Features
Excellent. Most of the multi-effects pedals i have messed around with are a very obvious 'generic solution' in that they all try to pack in as many effects as possible, but leave out the details (effect parameters, etc). This thing is great in that there are a good selectin of parameters for all the different types of effects. Also, the drum machine is pretty fun to play around with...but probably pretty useless for anything other than just that or maybe as a fancy metronome. There are 40 pre-set beat patterns that take a while to browse through...but i suppose some can be inspirational. haha.
Ease of Use
The interface really is kinda confusing at first. After a few days of playing around, you'll understand it pretty well...however its still not ideal for fine-tuning, IMO, because two of the knobs are 'generic adjustment knobs'...so adjusting a specific effect means memorizing what each of the knobs do for EVERY effect. I always have to play around a bit to figure out how to make a specific adjustment that im looking for. Other than that, the rest of the interface is very basic, and (as i said) kinda confusing, but you get the hang of it quick.
Quality
Excellent. Ive had countless beers/food/crap spilled on my pedal and it cleans off easily. (granted, I still get mad when people spill stuff on it). Its very nice looking, and VERY robust...i was surprised at how robust it is when i got it as compared to what it appeared in the pictures online. Casing is all very sturdy metal ready to withstand lots of abuse. Even the hinge on the foot-pedal looks like it could take a direct hit from a Jet Li flying kick and be unphased.
Value
Worth it. For the robust metal frame and features together (bad interface design aside) this thing is worth the price. The USB audio features means...if theres something the pedal cant do that you need, you can always do it on the computer. Also, since its USB audio you dont have to really worry much about losing quality in the process of recording to your computer...so no ridiculously fancy sound cards needed in addition.
Manufacturer Support
Havent had to use customer support.
The Wow Factor
Good for a simple multi-effects pedal. If you need something quick and easy, but not cheap in quality, this is your best bet.

"zoom g2.1u proof that dynamite comes in small packages!!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
This review has been selected by our experts as particularly helpful.
i'll be using the g2.1u for a long time..i don't see a reason for anything else.for recording it's top notch..for playing out it could pose a few problems..
Sound
i just bought it yesterday, but i have already just in the presets found every sound i could want.i have crated some of my own too..if you have owned multi-effects pedals before than this one shouldn't give you any trouble figuring it out.i bought it to use for recording at home so i'm not sure how it would work out live since you only have 2 switches and they just go forward and backwards through the channels so if you had 4 different channels you used and they were far apart you could run into trouble.but for me it's perfect..if you're looking for it it's in here
Features
i've owned several multi-effects units and i have to say by far this is my favorite..the amp sims are amazing and the effects are sparkling..
Ease of Use
not the easiest in the world but if it were easy it wouldn't be great..you get what you pay for and if you want something easy to use you're gonna get big peddles less effects and less quality..for example if you want simple and less get a "korg"
Quality
so far so good..like i said only had it a day...
Value
for the price and all that's included you can't get any better
The Wow Factor
the sleek design and productivity is awesome

Zoom G2.1u Guitar Effects Customer Review

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
The sound seems to improve if I use a guitar that tends to feed back less. I get the best results with my Yamaha Silent Guitar. Using my Joe Pass Epiphone and Godin Nyon Multiac SA the dive tones all sounded like fuzzy mush. Another reviewer had a similar complaint. I was happy with the sound when I blew the Yamaha through it.
Features
You could not ask for more in a small box.
Ease of Use
I give it a 9 but I would be willing to pay more for a better display. The codes are cryptic.
Quality
Its build like a tank. Very solid.

"It does have sex appeal which is probably what conned me into it"

Overall: 3 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I think I am being a little harsh giving it only a 6. I guess I am not jumping up an down that I have it but it does give a lot but the sound really isn't for me, I would probably be better off getting a moogafooga. If you have analogue ears well then this isn't probably going to make you go giddy inside however if you are on a sound quest well this will definitely aid you towards some worthy exploration.
Sound
I bought this thinking it would hopefully clean up my lot of pedals and give me some space but alas it does not do this. What it does do in all fairness is give me a toy to play with when I am feeling bored. The sound is far too superficial for my liking but it is good fun to play with the drum machine and I am particularly fond of the ring modulator. There is some other sounds such as Tape Echo, Blues driver etc that I enjoy however I can't seem to take it seriously.
Features
Everything you need except the power adapter. Believe me it causes horrendous noise when you don't have the correct power adapter. Learnt the hard way.
Ease of Use
The really fun part of this is you can add and subtract so many sounds and adjust the parameters for them individually. So you can make beautifully subtle wah with a whack of tape echo for example. So I wouldn't use this professionally however I have had countless hours mucking around woth it.
Quality
No trouble with this little device. I have owned it for about 6 months and its tough. Not a boss but definitely not a plastic behringer pedal.
Value
For the price it is great value for money. Honestly I would probably never give up my stomps but your talking the price of one stomp that can give you so many hours of fun... I do not feel at all ripped off.
Manufacturer Support
Not bad they reply to emails.
The Wow Factor
It does have sex appeal which is probably what conned me into it.

"i have used this product live as well as for recording,i know my stuff and cover everything from blues, rock and deathmetal,i hav"

Overall: 3.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
i will use this for home and be content ,however once i play live again i will look for something else, not good for live use.i
Sound
first of all you better have some spare time to study the manual before even plugging this thing in.alot of the effects are useless but if you want a good distortion sound this things got it,from mild crunch to deathmetal and it also has some good clean sounds as well.however i find it sounds very good for direct recording through the included software or a multi-track,however not as good as i would of liked through an amp.but over all for the price i am very pleased, the software is worth the money and with the built in drums,it is great for a practice tool or a half decent demo, well worth the money if you are considering buying this thing then do it
Features
included recording software is great but it will take a year to figure out how to use it,it comes with no directions but if you look hard enough youll find them on the program its self, good luck figuring it all out,but if you do great things are to come as far as a great recording.
Ease of Use
it takes awhile to figure out how to operate this thing, your perfect sound is in there though good luck finding it.
Quality
very solid, well built, you can beat this thing and have it for years,i suggest keeping it dust free,i bought a case for it for 3 bucks to store it when not in use.
Value
worth the money
Manufacturer Support
havent crossed that bridge yet, which is a good sign.
The Wow Factor
looks fine and sturdy, could have a better digital face and more buttons instead of buttons sharing uses and complicating things.

"Going on the second warranty yay!!!"

Overall: 2 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Im prob going to switch products because i want a better sound and more features and maybe this time ill get one where all the buttons work.
Sound
The sound is pretty good because of all the diffrent effects.
Features
I think the most useful features is the tuner it makes tunning easy as pie.
Ease of Use
Fairly straight forward just find an effect and fiddle around with the knobs
Quality
It looks nice but im about to use my second warranty
Value
Ive had it for a few short months because its been in warranty for like 3 and its going to go again. Get something else so that you have more time using it and less time waiting.
Manufacturer Support

"a low price Hi-fi, FX+USB!"

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
if you dont think to record, you can spend your money to a stronger FX (with COSM). but if you want FX+record its an ideal stuff with this price.
Sound
Hi fi sound. but FX are weeker than COSM system I see in other multi FX pedals like zoom GFX-3.
Features
USB connection is so Great.
Ease of Use
its not complex like other pedals. you can edit paths just with 4 digited knob.
Quality
its great for beginer`s home recording.
Value
its less than similar multiFX+USB interface

"I mean, how many mediocre sounding effects do you really need? The drum machine is such a waste of space too. I'm sorry but this"

Overall: 1.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I want to sell it but I don't think anyone will buy it.
Sound
Disappointing.
Features
You can tweak just about anything so that's good. The only thing that is actually useful, in my opinion, is the noise gate feature.
Quality
It's sturdy.

"great for beginners,if your just starting out this product will make you practice more and think outside the box but i wouldn't"

Overall: 2 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
don't expect to use it much more than a toy.the sound is not great for live or recording!!sorry zoom. guess my standards are to high.
Sound
at first I was very impressed , but after owning it for over a year my attitude has changed. the acoustics effects are wonderful, i have to say the only upside to this pedal.being a metal player I need the best of both worlds and sadly this just doesn't deliver, the distortion effects are week and crackling, not much clarity no mater how much I tweak on it.I have had it for over a year and I still can't get my sound right.to be fair,it may be the combination of digital running into a valve king tube amp,but I have tried to use it as just a volume boost with an analog pedal and that really killed the signal!I tried to record with it direct also but sadly with the same result poppy crackly.if zzounds has zany zuggestionz I would appreciate it!!
Features
well it came with a power chord and cubase software, but since it didn't have a usb cable I never got to try the software.it was supposed to come with a usb , but it was probably snatch by one of the ppl that I bought it from, not that that would help the sound quality any.
Ease of Use
it is complex but not complicated.the interface is easy but tweaking is a nightmare.like I said before the acoustic settings are some of the best I've heard but switching to dirty it all falls apart.it does incredible effects like pitch shifting, scoop and step but that's only appealing if you like live on mars!!
Quality
this is the worst part of the pedal, not long ago the down switch stopped working so now I can only switch up.any presets I had became useless so now i have to go from clean to dirty to clean, dirty, clean. you can imagine the frustration.since i bought it over a year ago the warranty was out so I took it apart and looked at the switches , they are so tiny its no wonder why it stopped!!from the outside it looks durable but the problem lies within the control switch on the board. any twisting on the switch can cause serious damage and when you play hard like me you need sturdy buttons.sadly I traded in a metal zone and chorus to buy it and I'll be kicking myself for another year!!!
Value
only complaint is that I wish it had lasted more than the year I had it!who knows had it lasted longer I may have felt better about the product.
Manufacturer Support
can't really comment on support seeing as how the warranty is out.
The Wow Factor
It looks sleek enough but the buttons are to close together, found myself switching to bypass to often because of this, not good while playing live.

Sound
SOunds amazing with my little Fender Frontman 25R.I am very surprised.
Features

Ease of Use
Read the manual.if you dont you with find it very confussing.i was. i read and i learned the whole thing in like a hour.
Quality
Good sturdy you chould drop it.plastic knobs but nothing wiggles, moves, and as well as sick leds that make it look like a machine you just want to stare at it.
Value
i caculated everything in this pedal has about $550 of sounds and the tuner in it.i did not caculate the drum machine though. I paid $169.99 for it brand new.
