This kit has it's limitations, single zone snare and you cannot choke the cymbals, but with that in mind the kit is a great place to start and is a good deal for the price. Quality of the kit is excellent and the service from Zzounds has been great as well.

This is the best bang for the buck e-kit I could find for my needs: 1. Playing with a band in a small venue where an acoustic kit would be too much. 2. Jamming and practicing with a band, or alone, quietly. 3. Home recording. 4. Paul Rudd likes it. I schose this over the DTX 450k because I've already purchased a used kick pedal + kick tower for $35 on Craigslist. My setup is very simple. A laptop and Superior Drummer 3 or BFD3. Most venues already have their own PA System. Plug and play. I've had this kit for a few months now and it has proven itself to be reliable and durable.
Sound
The built in samples are useable, but are too "synthetic" in my opinion.
Features
There are some plastic stuff that aren't meant to be plastic. So far so good.
Ease of Use
I was able to set it up without the manual.
Quality
I would say 3 years minimum before I would consider a replacement.
Value
Anything cheaper than this is just a headache.
Manufacturer Support
I have found the pads on these to be more durable and responsive compared to its Roland counterpart. You can't go wrong with either brand.
The Wow Factor
This kit is featured in the movie Ant-Man and the Wasp. I mean, that's pretty damn cool.

Got this for my son who is learning to play. Had it for a month now and no issues at all. He plays it every day for 30 minutes or more. Sounds are from the higher end dtx 750 and 900 series so although not a lot of kits the quality is there. Pretty cool that we can hook up our iPad and change the sound output for different pads. Would have been nice to have the symbol chock like the Roland portable kit, but that kit was more $$$
