"VHT Valvulator 1 review."

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I got two of these VHT V1's to put at the beginning of my pedalboard and the end of my pedalboard .I replaced them with a Decibel Eleven Loop Expander with a Class A buffer to add M.I.D.I. control over some foot pedals and put a Mosky Pure Buffer at the end of my pedalboard. I replaced my two VHT Valvulators 1's to recieve the balanced Left and Right channels from my Digitech 2112's outputs .The 2112 SGS has two 12ax7 tubes and the VHT Valvulator 1's each have a 12ax7 tube each. Now I have 100% tube dynamics and responses from my Digitech 2112 rack unit .This gives my digital signal , analog / tube dynamics, like my Marshall, Mesa Boogie, Carvin, Peavey, Fender or VHT amps .The VHT / Fryette Valvulator not only reduces the passive pickup's impediance from high to low, it preserves the high frequencies and drives the signal much stronger .The Valvulator 1, is very versatile device for giving digitally produced signals more analog warmth that tubes can only deliver .Three power outlet are rated at 9v and has one 12v outlet for your pedals and they are isolated and protected from interacting and / or introducing noise from the pedals or any other electrical device .Best buffer ever made and very versatile .
