"TA-300 Acoustic Amp"

This is by far the best Acoustic guitar amp ever. I have tried them all. It comes with awesome effects and pedal for switching between effects, witch are crazy good . It has a whopping 300 watts. It also has a mic input you can use for your guitar or a vocal mic. Its great for small solo gigs. I play a custom Martin 00042 I had built for me with a L.R.Baggs I beam pickup and my guitar sounds natural and sweet. If your a pro or couch player and you need a amplified sound for your acoustic you can not go wrong with the Trace Elliot TA-300 (if you got the cash) it is very expensive but worth every penny. I gave a 5 star grade for the support but I never needed to use it. I had this amp over a year and have had no issues.

"TE 300 issues"

Overall: 1 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
A friend of mine bought his TE 300 about 15 years ago and he no longer uses it so he loaned it to me. The thing is having major problems (new) so I took it to a good certified tech guy who the local Guitar Center recommended. The tech could find nothing wrong but I still get a loud reverb/scrub sound along with popping. It sounds like a jet taking off and is unbearable to have on as it sounds like it will explode. The tech could find nothing and could not get it to replicate the condition other than the popping. The tech was able to get ahold of TE in Canada and get this, they said the popping when turning the amp on and off was normal. Now I am trying to reach the folks at Trace Elliot and they do not return my calls. Be careful buying an amp when the company will not take calls on problems….I have an amp that won't work and the company won't help.
