Amazing sound. I researched for weeks including corresponding with Sennheiser about the concerns I had with feedback...... Which were now none. I've used Sennheiser microphones for the past 8 years and have always liked their sound. They do run on the high side so you do have to do a little eq tweeking, but out of the box without tweeking the 965 capsule was truly amazing. A condenser that you can switch between cardioid and supercardioid applications makes the microphones use limitless!

Sennheiser systems are extremely rugged. They are all metal from the receiver to the handheld. When you pick it up in your hand you know it's going to be quality.

Their tech support is not the greatest as someone takes your name and number and returns it at their convienience, I recommend emailing, but even then expect at least 3-4 days.

My first Sennheiser wireless mic was pure joy for me! Being able to truly hear every good and bad note, helped me in so many ways. I had it for years and finally decided to go big! I've been looking at this one for months, and my only regret is not buying it sooner. It is amazing.
The tone is so warm, everything comes through so clear. From full on belting to little nuances with barely any push. The only limits you'd have are your own creativity.
I saw some reviews on people saying it feeds or it's too heavy.
There are some excellent YouTube tutorials to help address any problems. For feedback, unscrew the very top(carefully), that's where you'll choose your settings. The tutorials help with this and syncing it up the first time. Weight wise, I'm a tiny chick singer that's never had a problem with the weight.
Sound
Extremely warm sound, not muddled at all. Very clear, picks up everything even when you whisper. From Janis Joplin/Beth Hart full on belting to sweet soft Norah Jones/Ricki Lee Jones. Cuts through perfectly in outdoor festivals to intimate jazz clubs or quiet coffee house settings. Definitely read through your manual and video tutorials before you turn it on.
Features
I love the syncing option. You sync the mic to the base and it remembers the settings. One time, and it's set.
Ease of Use
The mic basically does the work for you. You don't have to push as much or tweak the EQs on your mixing board as much.
Quality
I still have my first Sennheiser, they make an excellent product. And this one is the best. I think the mic will last for years. Very sturdy and it looks good too.
Value
For the quality of this mic, I would expect it to be more honestly. zZounds had a great price and the payment plan let me get it. Love zZounds!!

With my first mic of theirs, I dropped it and it kept going through batteries. A pair a song set. I called they sent out a shipping label, mailed it to them next day. I had it back two days later, completely fixed and it still works. They couldn't have been nicer.
The Wow Factor
I love it! Been getting compliments like crazy on how good it sounds. I'm a Sennheiser fan(obviously) so it's the brand I will always stick with. And after singing on it, i can't imagine wanting a different mic.

"Not a Good Sounding Microphone"

I found this unit to be way to difficult to handle well, especially with live rappers. Had a great deal of issues with constant feedback, whereas none of our other microphones had any of the same issues as this one.
