This will be in my guitar forever, I'm putting it in my other one
Sound
I havae this in A GMP Pawn Shop Deluxe (like a high end Les Paul)Great Warm Tones, Mid, and Low come through great, the high end isn't too shrill. Distorted it shreds!!!!You can hear all the notes..not too muddy, and the leads...you gotta try it for yourself.
Ease of Use
Sounds incredible through a tube amp especially. Just pop it in and you won't be disappointed
Quality
I've always used SH1's in the bridge position.....I'm going to change out my other GMP. It's an SH1 bridge pickup on steriods

"How do your house break so many pups?"

I am satisfied with this purchase. I would only replace them if I did not like the sound. I use this guitar and a Gibson LP and between the two, I pretty much have every sound I need. I play with a seven piece 50's-60's show band about six times a year and all of us play the rest of the time with a smaller two or three piece group derived of the same members. When working with the smaller group, we do a lot of easy listening, blues and jazz. The sound I get for this style of music fits the bill fine.
Sound
I just was not happy with the sound of my Gibson SG. Something was missing so I was going to install Gibson 57 Humbuckers. It was suggested that I go to Seymour Duncan's. These pups were suggested by our local music store. Josh, one of the store's techs installed both along with a push/pull pod on each of the pickups. The sound is full with lots of depth on the SH 2 (Jazz). With the SH 11 there is solid punch and great distortion (when I want it)that does not break up and flatten out. I am very pleased with the sound.
Features
Having push/pull pods has opened the gate for more variety in sound. Using 500 ohm pods also adds to the definition of the sound. 300's are ok but the 500 give a lot more control.
Ease of Use
Just turn the dial and pull the tone control knob up or push it down and you have a very wide variety of sounds and control.
Quality
Have not had these long enough to express any kind of opinion. They fit nicely and look good. They look to be well made. Will see.
Value
These were a little less expensive than the Gibson's but price was not a factor. I would say it is a fair price.
