Schecter Nick Johnston Traditional HSS Electric Guitar

Schecter Nick Johnston Traditional HSS Electric Guitar

Nick Johnston turns up the heat with this HSS version of his signature axe. A set of single coils and a '78 Special humbucker in the bridge power this beast.

"No need for a fender bender when..."

As an owner of two fender hss guitars( a 2002 m.i.m. and a 2018 American performer), I enjoy the versatility the 5-way offers. After watching nick Johnston, as well as several other buyers post demos, I had to have this one. While it doesn't have the chimey tones that fender puts out, the bucker on this thing wipes the floor with the fender version. It absolutely scorches, and with the right pedals, you'll confuse your friends by using a strat model to play brutal ass metal. The only con is you will need a MAJOR setup out of the box with this one. Tons of fretbuzz and spring balancing aside( the tremolo kills the tuning initially), this beauty surpasses your basic fender hss in every way. Kudos to mr. Johnston and schecter
