Schecter makes a great product and this model is no exception. The Schecter Damien Platinum 8 has a crisp, unique tone and great playability due to the jumbo frets, fast, thin neck and of course the 28" scale.
The looks are incredible and clean and I couldn't be happier with this guitar. For the price, this guitar sounds amazing and again, I can't stress enough how awesome the service from these guys is!!!

I was holding out an a 8 string for a while and finally got this one today. The black satin is beautiful. The bat inlays did throw me off at first but after viewing this guitar online versus in person definitely changed my mind. The 808's never fail. The low F is usually muddy but not this time. I would definitely recommend this guitar for anyone who is looking for an 8 string.

The only down fall of this guitar is it does not have a bass pot for the 8th string so it can be a little difficult to find the right gauge string that will fit if you play in drop tunings
