this is just a great bass, even though the tuners feel a bit then they do the job of holding tuning. As for the feel of the bass it feels great action on the bass I have is great probably would prefer for it to be a bit lower but ill have to shim it to get it there, YMMV. Over im really enjoying the bass, and the PB veneer really give it a boutique look.

"Tuner issue"

I've played Sterling basses for a few years now, and I love them. Unfortunately, this bass is the exception for one reason: the tuners. This bass arrived yesterday, and I changed the strings on it right away (I prefer to use flatwounds). The tuners were extremely stiff, and the E tuner in particular is literally falling about. This bass will be going back. This experience won't turn me off of Sterlings, as I have had an excellent experience up until now. I just won't buy another of this particular model.

This Bass is so good, but the g tuner was defective. It came delivered like that but never expected the whole thing to fall apart. Never in all my years seen a tuning machine on a bass guitar just fall totally apart! I've
Sound
It's a MusicMan Bass, Sounds excellent. Never had a problem with MusicMan tuners, but this one is a dud. I definitely got a bad one.
Features
Bad g-string machine tuner. Maybe it's just mine. Factory defect.
Ease of Use
Not easy with bad tuning. Was good when it was working. hope the others don't fall off.
Quality
The Bass is great. But so surprised when the machine tuner (g_String) fell apart when I was playing the Bass (just tuning it)
Value
Not any more.
Manufacturer Support
No. Did not even cross my mind that something like this would happen.
