A friend of mine (drummer) decided to take up guitar and brought it over for my opinion. I've never played anything like it, I've always wanted an explorer in my collection. It blew me away! Soooo comfortable. The bound neck fits me perfectly. Not sure of the nut width, but it feels to be a little thinner than the norm. I was hoping one day to pick up a Hamer Explorer when I had the money, I've now found it's less expensive replacement. I've been playing for 20 years, mainly play a Fender Lonestar Strat and a Dean '79 "V" re-issue. My music genre varies by mood. Fender for the blues, Dean for the heavier stuff. I've played other expensive guitars, but I don't need to spend it. I'm definetly going to purchase this ax. Maybe replace the bridge pickup and the volume, tone knobs. I think this guitar may become my main squeeze. It's amazing how comparable a Korean made guitar is to a $1000+ model. Set it up, swap some hardware, your golden!
