Love the DJ-707M by Roland. It has a lot of features and take time to learn how they all work but it is definitely worth the money. It is built for Serato Pro which is a very good program, but I use Virtual DJ which is automatically mapped to work with this controller. The free standing mixer capability was the biggest selling point for me.

"Beware of Roland DJ gear"

I sadly must say that I would not recommend Roland DJ gear to anyone. It was not always like that. I bought the DJ-808 when it came out and had an issue. Roland let me send it back and supposedly took care of the issue. I took it to a gig and the issue happened again. The unit was bought from zZounds and zZounds was great on their end. The problem with the unit was that the play button would have to be hit just right to work. Being in a club and missing your cue is unacceptable. I used the controller a few times and it ended up in a closet. I had recommended the smaller controllers to people (because they came with Serato Pro) and they too had issues. Now if you have any doubts call Roland US and push 2 for repair. You will not get a live person. Instead you will be asked to leave a message and someone will get back to you. Do not hold your breath! Just do not buy Roland Dj gear.
