"Time Tested"

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars

I have had this case for almost 10 years now. I got it for Christmas along with an Epiphone LP. I have taken my guitar and case on airplanes, gigs, etc. It's seen a lot of miles (I beat the crap out of it). Over the course of 10 years this is what has happened with my case: about 3 years old the latch on the back side broke off. Wasn't vital to the case so kept on going. 6 years old, the tolex has started to come undone in small areas. Over all: 10 years running and this case is still holding together. I am about to buy another one to go with my new backup guitar. Pros: well built, holds guitar well, light weight, classic design Cons: It doesn't have a divot for the toggle switch on the LP. Over time this can wear on the plastic part of the toggle switch.

"Be warned"

Overall: 1.5 out of 5 stars

i will get rid of this one. im getting another case.
Sound
no sound
Features
has a neat little compartment to store tools and stuff.
Ease of Use
small and not space consuming. has four studs on the base so you can stand it upright, but i never dared to because it might fall on one side.
Quality
standard case. the latches easily come off. when i got this case in the mail, the leather was coming off. it is just not worth the effort sending it back for a replacement so i am just going to buy a new one and throw this one away. the guitar sets in ok but moves a little. it will not fully close so dust and other foreign matter can slip in and dirty your precious.
Value
if you are not going to carry this case around and just leave it in your room to have a place for your guitar to sleep in, then it is ok.
The Wow Factor
i'd rather get a softcase rather than buy this mutilated so-called-brand-spanking new case.

"Excellent case for the money at huge savings."

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
I bought this case as a replacement for a Historical R9 case that I didnt want to get beat up in travels. This case is outstanding. It holds the guitar tightly, the tolex has taken a beating as well as any other tolex case I have and looks correct. The latches operate smoothly and take the abuse I give them.
Features
The only features that are on the case is the small accessories compartment and the quality latches and hinges.
Quality
This is an excellent case. Others who see it ask where I got it and was it more than a replacement R9 case would have been. THe R9 cases are running about $250, these days, this is $90 and quality is right there but without the classic flare of the historic case.
Value
I think this case is unequalled at this cost. If you are going to tour nad fly, then a hard shell polymer case may be better for you. But if you travel regularly and dont want the cumbersomeness of a flight case, this is a good answer.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't had to use.
The Wow Factor
Very attractive case. Tolex quality and adhesion is very good. Liner inside is stable and holds guitar just as it intended.

"RockCase by Warwick Les Paul Hard Case"

Overall: 1.5 out of 5 stars

Was disappointed with the size of the case. My Epiphone Les Paul guitar was just about able to squeeze in the case. Leaving no space for accessories such as a guitar strap, tuner, and cable. In the small compartment box in the hardcase you had to pick which of the items listed above, you wanted to store there, all other items would have to be carried by other means.
