Sound
I DJ and use 4 of these cabinets along with 4 Peavey SP3G's. Talk about a kick ass product! Great low end and very durable--Never blown One yet. I use a QSC RMX 2450 to power the four subs & this is a good match--600 watts a box.
Features
I put 2 inch casters on the subs for ease of handling
Quality
The cabinet is strong and durable. I had one fall out of my trailer whilke driving down the road. I picked it up--slight cosmetic damage--took it to the gig and it performed. That was 2 years ago with many gigs thereafter.
Value
Good value--low price--beats the likes of JBL & Mackie.

The Wow Factor
I will actually go to the SP218 cabinets for compactness when loading up my van.

I plan on staying with Peavey, there is no need to replace the cabinet just replace the speaker basket if it blows. I wish Peavey would add wheels and a rear handle, they are very heavey thats coming from a 270lb man. What I like most is the sound and you really don't need a active xover with these cabinets.

I own a pair of the sp118x-4, they are monsters when it comes to bass

The passive crossover work extremely well, you only need one amp to power both, your subs and mains all at once. Its true
Quality
Extremely good quality, did not know what I've been missing all these years. I sold my JBL's (SRX4718)$800 cabinets, for the Peaveys
Value
I fill like I ripped Peavey off, thats how low the price is on these cabinets compared to yorkville, jbl, cerwin vega and other single 18 cabinets
