Ovation 1778T Mid-Depth Bowl Cutaway Elite T Acoustic-Electric Guitar (with Case)

The Ovation Elite T Series 1778T acoustic electric guitar and the rest of the USA made Elite T Series guitars are designed as an alternative to the traditional Ovation Elite series. Shedding the classic multi-piece hardwood epaulet sound hold decorations, this new model incorporates a simpler, untrimmed, 11-hole pattern that enhances the low and mid range punch. The rock maple neck profile has also been slimmed down to give it a look and feel more appealing to electric players. An ultra light, yet incredibly durable, textured enamel finish is wrapped around the entire back and top.

"I overpaid and am still thrilled"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I ponied up for more than a beginner guitar with the plan of keeping it for a long time I am happy to say that I have made the right choice. IF it were lost or stolen I would instantly buy another one but I would buy it online the second time and save some money
Sound
purely acoustic its not the loudest guitar but for its mid depth I would say its very impressive. Each note rings loud long and clear. I like the overall clarity it just sounds cleaner than most
Features
First off the case is great and it fits the guitar perfectly. The on board tuner is very helpful although it shuts off after only 30 seconds , not a big deal but a little to quick for me to get all 6 strings in tune.
Ease of Use
I am most thrilled with the playability of the guitar granted this is one of only 2 or 3 high end guitars I have played but I am able to play things allot cleaner than on other guitars I have tried. Once again I love the on board tuner.
Quality
I can not find one thing wrong with the whole guitar the finnish that wraps around the whole body seems to be very durable.
Value
The guitar is deffinatly worth the prices you see online. I paid quite a bit more to buy it local from a store but after having played it I don't regret the price one bit
Manufacturer Support
Call me biased but I will give them a 10 even though I have not had any problems to deal with and I hope I never do.
The Wow Factor
Every time people see it they are impressed and usually have questions. I must admit that the looks is what got me interested in it and for once it has paid off big time to be shallow
