This amp sounds like King Kong stomping out Manhattan in the 70's. I put this thing up against a vintage ampeg v4, an ampeg ba 300 an ashdown 180 and a fender bassman 250 and it crushed all of them with big warm clean clear kong-like tone. I actually got it used (barely used) for $480 which was a complete steal as these things sound amazing. The only downside is that it is a heavy amp but screw that, I'd rather carry around a heavy sick sounding amp then carry some crappy sounding one around with my pinky.

this thing is siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick. most useful features are the headphone jack, line out, fx loop, xlr out (d.i.) as well as the well done modern channel and classic channel with the switchable, blend channel. Amazing. this amp rocks.

took 2 minutes to dial up the sound I tried to get out of 10 amps prior to this.

this thing is a tank, but still too early to tell as I got it today, BUT I bought the extended warranty so I will write back in if this thing craps out.

I just bought a cherry condition slightly used version for $480 bucks. How the hell can you go wrong?

got the super support from daddy's junky music so ....pretty good....if I need it.

this amp will stomp your face off whether you are playing rock, metal, country, blues, bluegrass , funk or what. ridonk.
