The Marshall MA50C has got Marshall attitude and tone to spare. With 50 watts of power in a compact footprint, the MA50C was built to rock.

I expect to enjoy this amp for a very long time....get one!
Sound
This is a great amp... enough power for medium gigs and smaller ones. The tone of clean channel is always the best on Marshall's (no matter what volume level). The overdrive channel seems to sound better louder, with the master volume up more, and the driver volumes down. But I still give it a 10 :)
Features
came with a foot-switch and electricity connector cord (IEC). I bought a cover for it; no big deal. amp has reverb and presence knobs.
Ease of Use
the controls are fairly simple. You can set the overdrive & boost levels in channel 2. when in the 'boost' mode, you make the amp as loud as you want it for solos etc...then deactivate the 'boost' so you are in regular overdrive mode, and adjust the first volume knob to where you want the quieter rhythm guitar level to be. so now, you can click in the boost for getting more volume during solos etc...
Quality
the quality of this amp seems excellent. very well made. looks cool. easy to carry around etc...
Value
for the money, i'd say it's a great value. to get a powerful all tube Marshall amp with 2 channels (with separate EQ sections) for under $800 is reasonable and a good deal.
Manufacturer Support
have not used it.
The Wow Factor
hist amp is very appealing, for the sound, the portability, the power, and the Marshall brand name/quality factor...

"SAY WHAT YOU WANNA SAY! THIS IS A MARSHALL AMP!! THAT WILL GIVE YOU THE SIGNATURE MARSHALL SOUND!"

I hope to keep this amp for a long time!! 50 watts of all valve tube is pretty dam loud! BELIEVE ME! this amp will cove small to med gigs fine! this is not a bedroom amp !
Sound
I truly can afford to buy any amp....but I don't throw away my money as well! I own a Vox AC-15C1 and now after tons of hours of internet research. I came up with the Marshall MA-50C which sounds like and truly has the Marshall all tube sound! I'm not here to put down the JVM or the JCM BUT! this amp is one bad cat! built great it seems! if you don't have the big bang bucks don't worry .... This is a Marshall! the MA series is made in Vietnam under the direction of Marshall R/D in England.... Don't confuse this series with the MG it's far more up on the scale! and as a 30 year professional player I would have no trouble taking it on the road!
Features
Comes with a solid made footswitch and standard manual .. The clean channel is great and the crunch signature Marshall sound is here as well, not a lot of confusing bells and whistles here which is fine with me! It's simple! I use a fender American Telecaster, which works well for me.
Ease of Use
I dialed some great sounds in less than 15 minutes .... I'm sure with some little time ...you'll get your sounds pretty easy. The thing I really like about this amp is that it's much simpler than the JVM or the JCM....I just didn't need all those extras. This amp will give you the sound! I don't care what anyone else says! if you can be happy with a great clean channel and the famous Marshall crunch channel? this amp will work well for you!
Quality
This amp is made very well in my opinion... I've had mine a short time, but it seems that this is going to be a road worthy amp that should be pretty trouble free! .... I checked out the tubes and speaker and some inside parts in the control panel...really seems to be good quality! forget all that upgrade stuff...perhaps when tubes need to be replaced I may go with some JJ'S but the standard tubes asre great and the speaker A-75 Celestion is fine!
Value
I think for 750.00 for a Marshall that gives you this type of sound it's a good value! ....This is Marshall's version of Fenders Hot Rod Deluxe with 10 more watts..
Manufacturer Support
Marshall has good support....just one note! this amp does have a reverb tank up-grade that has been reported, and if your does not have the upgrade Marshall will support you without any charge, should you need one. otherwise this is as solid as any amp!...Don't get hung up on the Made in Vietnam thing...ITS MADE WELL!
The Wow Factor
It like like a famous Marshall all the way!! except for the white piping around the grill is black which I really like! and the on and off switch does not light up.. big deal? I can live with it!!
