Mapex C200RB Rebel Series Straight Cymbal Stand

For a great performance, you need a cymbal stand that won't give way while you play. With its slip-resistant rubber feet, this stand is not going anywhere.

I was looking for the cheapest cymbal stand I could find to put an inexpensive 14" Pintech cymbal pad on. Combined with an hh65, this completes my hi-hat setup for a Yamaha DTX Multi 12. It's going to sit to the left of an XP80 snare pad that is on it's own little snare stand. This is far from the most robust stand in the world but I could buy 3-4 of these for the cost of higher quality stands out there. I intend to treat it pretty delicately and be careful if I ever need to transport... but for an inexpensive solution for a cymbal stand.. this will do just fine. The tri-pod has a pretty wide base. It was inexpensive enough that if does break a year or two down the road it won't hurt too much. It is definitely not the sturdiest construction in the world, but I feel like as long as I take care of it, it's all I'm going to need for a single zone cymbal pad.

These are super lightweight stands for beginners. If you are an intermediate or pro drummer these are not the stands for you. I suspect they would not hold up to any serious playing. Save your money and buy a good quality medium to heavy weight stand you won't have to replace.
