You get way more bang for your buck in the PA world than you would say, for a home theatre system for the same output. These speakers are very, very loud, very crisp, the mids and highs are phenomenal. I do feel the bass claims were pretty severely misrepresented so I did go ahead and purchase the dedicated Subwoofer, which is huge, boomy, and accurate as well. If you want a complete system you should go ahead and get all 3 pieces right off the rip. You are unlikely to be satisfied with just the pair. The Bluetooth is very convenient and you can use these easily as speakers for your phone just to listen to throughout the house or with home movie viewing as well. Again, much more bang for your buck than theater sound. I have a mackie ProFX12 board going into these as well with 2 microphones, a drum pedal, an electronic drum kit, and the bass goes direct through it. There is very clear division of sounds through them. Regret level 0, but do buy the sub.

These speakers are good for a small venue. They lack sound and power beyond that is just not there. I use them as monitors know. Play 200 gigs a year and bought these at a reps recommendation. I cannot in any way recommend them.
