I’ve always felt like my Deluxe Reverb was missing a little “umph”when I hit it with a fuzz face. I can happily say that is no longer the case with a Charlie Brown in the signal path. Feels like there is tone for days now, as notes bloom and sag with the Fuzz Face running into the Charlie Brown. And then, the tone when I run just the CB V4 and a wah are unbelievable. If you love 60’s/70’s blues rock, this thing is the ticket.

I don't know, maybe it's just me. I'm rather underwhelmed by it. It's just......meh. I didn't expect it to be a face-melter or anything, but I expected a little more than was delivered. In front of an all tube lunchbox head, it's a more expensive blues driver. Not better, not more "Marshally" or anything, just OK, the same as my BD. I'll put it on the shelf and maybe come back to it later on. But I'd save my money if I had it to do over again.
