This bass plays well and sounds great. The only flaws are the frets are not dressed well on the edges and can be kind of sharp. Although the Bass did arrive Beat up, like it had been drop, and the paint is chipped on the back, bottom of the bass, it does no effect the playability of it. Overall a great bass for the money

This thing is is killer! Great action, shredding tone, and a beautiful finish!
Sound
The dual humbuckers in this thing have a killer tone, I play heavy rock, and old school thrash. The growl from this thing negates the need for my overdrive pedal. I am seriously impressed!
Features
I like the on board 3 band eq, its passive but I think that's why I like it so much. I had to sail back the treble to half, because the growl became a bit to aggressive for my taste. But if your playing metal I suggest you give this Jackson a try.
Ease of Use
Way easy to use. Incredibly easy to play. The dual radius neck is so smooth and fast.
Quality
I was really surprised how well this Indian built Jackson was built. I went over everything before setting it up. A simple truss rod adjustment, some mild intonation adjusting and it was done. And the translucent black finish is awesome!
Value
For $349, I am really happy. I like it better than my $1400 Carvin!
Manufacturer Support
I have not had to deal with the Jackson support personnel, ever. This is my 3rd new Jackson. They just make quality gear!
The Wow Factor
The wow factor for me is in the puck ups, and the finish. I love it.

Money well spent. Jackson still making great stuff. A steal at $350!
Sound
Well I havnt got to hook it up to my live rig yet, but the double humbuckers are sweet. I have always played active pick ups, but I am really liking it so far. Got a little growl out of my Kustom practice amp. I'm sure it will sound great through the Ampeg, and Madison 8-10!
Features
This is a straight forward easy to use bass. The machine heads work great. The 3 band eq is a really nice feature!
Ease of Use
I love the neck on this thing! I did have to make a truest rod adjustment, and set the intonation, but that's to be expected. Really easy to do! The bridge allows access with out a hitch. Sweet, smooth, unfinished neck! Love it!
Quality
This is an import from India, I have to say its a lot better than I expected. The finish is top notch. I checked every screw on the thing and they were all good, the frets are dead nuts. Everything is very good. I am impressed!
Value
I have owned Carvin, Tobias, Fender, and ESP Ltd, basses, and I would put this Jackson up against all but one. So value wise. This thing rocks! It's $350 well worth spending! ill take it over my Fender!
Manufacturer Support
Have not had to deal with em'.
The Wow Factor
The finish is the wow factor for me. The flamed maple top with trans black finish is flippin awesome, with matching headstock! The smooth unfinished neck is so fast. That's why I have always loved Jackson bolt on necks.
