Not a lot to add to other reviews, except...The guitar has a dual action truss rod. It's usually claimed that classical guitars don't need a truss rod because the nylon strings are lower tension than steel strings. Feel free to argue about whether it's needed... but this one's got a good one. Also comes with a second saddle. It's loaded with an angled saddle to give higher action on the bass strings. Comes with a flat replacement saddle for those who prefer it.

"Great guitar at a fantastic price"

I own quite a few different brands and types of guitars; my collection covers a broad spectrum. This guitar has worked out very well for me thus far. It gives me the warm nylon string tone I'm looking for, while also providing the ability to plug in or not. The shape and feel is great. I was a bit concerned that it might be too small for me, but was pleased to find that it is sized quite appropriately. When comparing the sound-level production to a full bodied classical guitar, I would say that this produces a sound-level of somewhere around 80% of your typical non-electric acoustic. I am 100% satisfied with my purchase. It's a great guitar with an added bonus of built-in tuner (works great!).

I lost my career in the military from MS and year after year I lost my ability to play guitar. 20yrs later I decided I would try to play a 6string- I had an Ibanez 12 and gave it to a friend since he could play like i use to. Well I got this guitar just 20 minutes ago- can'r I say tears? LOL!!! It even came almost in tune adn I badly played "Hello in there",..., but it will get better with this box. The finish and detail is all Ibanez and it is a thinner box so I can handle i easier than the 12. If you want a subtle sunburst top in a rich wine tone- well you could not want any more for the money,.., and even without an amp,..., it still sounds great but my amp is on the way so I will fill my world once again with "simple" tunes and depth of words. Thank you zZ for making this goal happen- SL Mount
Sound
just filled the stars and there are not enough starts to reflect this seemingly middle of the road box,..., because it is anything but middle of the road. From a humble beginner to a seasoned player,..., this box will make all humble and yet proud to be holding this instrument. "WOW Factor?,..., off the charts!
Features
With MS the cut away is great to have tho I doubt I'm be doing any Hendrix, the neck is not as wide as a gut classical but it is very playable for smaller hands alike. The box itself is a thinline and is light, and very easy to play around. Just a really great instrument. Even IF you never played it seriously,..., this Guitar would look perfect on the wall- and you'd still have a guitar to play. But just looking at it in person makes you want to play it.
Ease of Use
It sounds good but I can tell it's voice will come out 100% when I get the amp. but without the amp it still sounds rich.
Quality
The product looks and is quality,..., Have had Ibanez guitars for over 40 years when I could play,...., they stand behind their boxes and I never had a problem with one of them. The entire look of this box in person says,..., PLAY ME! and you do, it is just one rich looking guitar and sounds as rich as it looks.
Value
This guitar is worth every penny and then some. A no-risk purchase for a lifetime of pleasure whether you stay a simple " cold night by the fireplace" musician or hit the stage.
Manufacturer Support
Not yet and if the past Ibanez boxes I have own are any indication- this one will be no issues.
The Wow Factor
This guitar just captures your eyes, if you covered the names in it and asked how much others thot it cost you would not get a guess at $299,..., it would be much more. I just feel lucky to have seen this at ZZ's,..., I ordered it as soon as I saw it. I'm partial to deep dark wine/burgundy tones and Ibanez did this one PERFECTLY! And to do it such an understated Sun Burn style,... well teh foto online sold me but it is so much more handsome in my hands.

"Most Versatile Guitar"

Purchased as a practice nylon Classical, however this may be the most versatile classical / acoustic / electric ever. Unplugged, the classical sound is not as loud as a regular sized body, but plugged in, the thin body allows for an awesome electric hollowbody sound. Clean or high-gain ( with a little bass reduction to avoid expected hollowbody feedback ) you can obtain a vintage electric sound. After some minor adjustments ( lowered nut slots, changed to light tension strings ), this has become the first picked up guitar in my studio for general picking, composing, and recording.

Great guitar. Sounds very good when plugged in. Obviously a bit quite when not. Only giving it 4 1/2 stars because the factory strings are horrible. But other than that great buy.

Over a year of guitar. I record music and several months of piano.

Musical Style:

Rock, metal

Got this for our 14-year old daughter and she loves this guitar. The sound is great when hooked into speakers. Acoustic is not as strong but still a good sound. Only thing I wish it came with a case. Other than that this is perfect!

"A Surprise find"

I was in the guitar shop looking for a thin body acoustic/electric. After long playing my right arm goes numb from resting against the sharp corner. A thin guitar does not put as much pressure on your arm. This fits the bill. I also added a leather arm rest to make the guitar edge even more comfortable. The sound when amplified is great. Without amp there is poor volume. This does make it a good guitar for early morning playing as to not waking others up others sleeping in.

Musical Background:

60 years playing. I play at a bar happy hour once a week.

Musical Style:
