"BIG HANDS REJOYCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Yes I would replace it with the same.I was enticed by the design, look and colors. Playability for finger style and slap.
Sound
The sound left a little more to be desired. The highs are not as sharp and stingy as I would like when it comes to slap and pulls. The volume knob doesn't build up volume gradually without having to adjust the bass or pickups volume. The B string is tight and thunderous love it! Weight is a little heavy but if sitting no problem. Playing through a peavey TNT 400w. Better volume control with crisper highs'.
Features
The Bartolini pickups are'nt as warm on this as others I have tried.Love the neck through jack locks and body design.
Ease of Use
Sound adjustment is simple, have to spend little more time twiking to get highs when poping to stand out. Mid to low's sounds' great with the Boss-Super Chorus. This instrument is perfect fix for big hands.
Quality
Minor buff marks from polishing on body around neck area.I can see this instrument lasting for ever.
Value
It's a great price now for an instrument of this quality.
The Wow Factor
YEAH! The wife loves the color (gray). Great body style headstock looks great too.Comfortible if sitting.(weight)

"Buy this bass NOW!"

I don't see myself letting this bass go for a very long time. I can't imagine needing another bass unless I wanted to go from 5 to 6 string. For a 5-er, this has got everything you could want in a bass.
Sound
This bass provides a wide range of tones that can be applied to any style or method. These Bartolini pickups are outstanding. Very rich and dynamic. Lots of basses sound good either on the bridge pickup or on the neck but rarely with a mix of both. This bass is one of the exceptions. These pickups blend very well together. The EQ options on this bass are fantasic. Lots of times it's either all of nothing but there is such a wide range with this bass, there are no limits. I've been using this bass even going direct with no effects or filters and it sounds wonderful, totally uneffected bass tone. The sustain on this bass is great, the notes will go as long as you let them.
Features
The finish is gorgeous and the materials used to make this bass seem to serve the instrument very well. The neck-through construction is a big plus and the construction, design, playability is outstanding! I love the locking 1/4" jack. The last bass I played, I kept losing the chord. This one isn't going anywhere.
Ease of Use
After you figure out which knob controls what it's very easy to find the sound you're looking for. All knobs (aside from volume) have notches to help you find the middle positions. For the EQ knobs this would be the "zero" position and it helps to know where you're at in the knob sweep. I have played a lot of basses over the past several months and this is the absolute best that I've experienced so far. The string spacing is very well set because it's easy enough to fret the notes but it also lends well to slap/snap styles. You can pound each note without the other strings getting in the way but you can still fret or chord notes as needed with ease.
Quality
Everything about this bass is wonderful. It is a very well made instrument and for the money it's hard to find anything better. The only negative thing I can say about this bass is the battery cavity cover was really hard to get off.
Value
For the price I paid for this bass I feel like I stole it. You will NOT find a better deal. This model is being discontinued so you better grab one while they are in stock.
The Wow Factor
If I were not playing this bass then I would be staring at it. I've always been a Fender J/P bass kind of guy but after taking a chance on this one I don't know what I was thinking.
