Absolutely love this amp, super light with the carry handle in the right place. I run it with 2 Eden Ex112's and get the best tone I've ever had! It can be smooth as butter or gritty and shake the house. Some say the fan is loud.......mine isn't, some say it's not true 600 watts........but sure seems like it to me! This amp along with the 2 Eden ex112's is the best setup and sound I've ever had. And all 3 together weigh only 67lbs. Would definitely buy all 3 again!

So in the last 10 years I have owned 3 Hartke heads and have yet to be disappointed this little Powerhouse. weighs vitrually nothing but has absolutely incredible power and tone. I put it atop a Hydrive 112. it sounds amazing the tube pre amp gives you a nice mellow tone or you can push it and get some good grind out of it. This is absolutely a must for any bass player that's tired of lugging around 50, 60 pound bass head. at only 7lbs you will be stunned by power and tone. My 130lb 1800 watt rack will now go into gear heaven probably not to be seen for quite some time. zZounds also it was fantastic to deal with had it on my door in 2 days I was like a kid at Christmas thank you guys for the great service

There seems to a myth that this head isn't loud. I just got one and it is plenty loud and then some. If you are a Hartke fan then you will love this light weight version of that Hartke sound.

This a great loud head I’ve heard people say it’s not loud that is not true it’s is quite loud . I’m pumping mine with a 15 Hydriver cabinet. You have to turn the gain up then the master volume will shake your house . Any genre of music too can be played with this amp . The built in compressor, and shape is great . I play along music with the AV input. Very compact and about 8 lbs . Great Amp !

When I got this I had pretty high hopes. I had heard a player using this amp and I really liked the tone. But when I plugged mine in, the wow factor just wasn't there for me. I mean, it has a lot of things I'm looking for; compact, lightweight, great tone, cool features but the punch and power isn't even close. My Ampeg PF-500 has less wattage, but more volume. I'll keep this for recording or low volume practices - but I don't feel as if it's gig worthy - not for me anyway. Would probably be fine for less aggressive types of music

This amp is in fact LOUD! I have no idea why everyone shuts it down. I plan on using this live, it has tons of headroom. I highly recommend to give a try for yourself and definitely see how you like it!!!!!

I received this amp a couple of weeks ago. The first time i plugged it in I was surprised to hear how quiet it was. Boasting 600 watts, I was underwhelmed. I also was upset to find out, after only playing on it for roughly half an hour, that the amp suddenly shut itself off and was rendered useless. After an annoying amount of research I found that the amp was shot and I returned it promptly. It looks cool and its really light but besides for that this amp is a junker.
