"Great Guitar"

Awesome Guitar. Glad Zzounds offers a P90 version of the Tribute T. Fit and finish is exceptional. Gold Top is beautiful. Only complaint is Gibson sets them up poorly. Pickups were adjusted uneven with some strings louder than others and strings touching the bridge. After a few hours of tinkering everything is just right and sounds great plugged into my Twin Reverb.

"Lady Melba"

My first ever Gibson after many Epi's n Fenders. A Honey Burst satin finished beauty. Perfect right from the get go. Heard all the horror stories about Gibson quality slipping. Not here! Melba(after Mom) is a honey tongued temptress! She croons sweetly at low volume and gain, but turn up her volume and start banging the strings and she wails like a screaming Mimi! The unbound neck and fretboard plays like butter.

"Great guitar, but needed a complete set up to even be playable."

This guitar is great. Great tone, feel and a great value. But, it came out of the box with a nut that needed cut right--strings were basically laying on top of the nut, and it need a complete set up. Once it was all set up right, plays great!

Nice guitar, good price. Mine wasn't sporting the finest setup by any stretch. Nor was it terrible. Action was fair, nut was cut right. Stop bar way too low, pickups way too high, bridge too high. Fret ends had not been dressed at all. Took me a solid 2 hours to knock down the barracuda teeth. Don't know why but I thought the included photo was a nice touch. The soft case is certainly a step up from your garden variety gig bag, however a guitar nudging a thousand dollars deserves to feel comfortable in a hardshell case.

"this Tribute is unbound, however bound for the Studio."

This honey of a Tribute knows no bounds, is unbound by neither white binding nor flashy bling. A light honey coat adorns her figure with a cape of golden amber. Her frets smooth, tall and nicely manicured, allowing screaming bends or smooth n suttle! She's a Lady! She can warble like a songbird or scream like a banshee! you are her master. Buy one today.

"Underwhelming"

While I have been very loyal to Gibson for years, this guitar may change that. The finish is so thin that after two gigs, it started breaking off around the edges. I like my guitars to feel worn in just as much as the next guy but the level of quality is seriously lacking. The P90s are loose and when you inevitably bump them, you can hear it. I do realize that this is an entry level Gibson but for $900, I could find many other brands that still have a little dignity left.
