Gibson 2017 Les Paul Traditional T Electric Guitar (with Case)

Inspired by late '50s Les Pauls, the Traditional is the result of decades of rock history. The Burstbucker 1 and 2 pickups produce sweet PAF-inspired tones.

This guitar is amazing, and for $1700.00 it can't be beat. To me, the desert burst looks tremendous in person. Wouldn't have been my first choice if it wasn't $300 lower than the other finishes, but after seeing it in person I really like it. The guitar was an early 2017 run, so it had been sitting for a while, but a little cleaning and minor adjustments to the action and it is both a looker and a player. I have big hands, so I love the slightly thicker neck. It has zero fret buzz and sounds great. I bought a 2017 Tribute earlier this year, also an excellent guitar, but this Traditional is all a Les Paul is supposed to be.

I bought the Gibson Les Paul Traditional in a Honey Burst and it arrived today (2 days after ordering it.). This Guitar is everything you expect from Gibson. The set up was not the best, so I put on new strings and set it up, and now it play beautifully. Has a very warm tone, with nice mids and lows, which for me is a plus. I have to say, this is the nicest LP I have played in a long time. I love the case and all the extras.

Solid body, Custom Buckers 1 n 2, gorgeous rosewood...just on and on. I have no clue why people say that Gibson's QC is suspect. I have had a few Les Pauls in the last few years and every one of them has been fantastic! They play great, look beautiful and most importantly have that gorgeous Les Paul tone that is unmistakable. Which leaves me to my two gripes. First, poker chip! Where did it go? (the little ring around the switch) Second, I would have preferred the 57 Classic pickups instead of the CBs.In the end my only gripes are PURELY preference and personal choice. Nothing wrong or lesser.Be assured the Les Paul Traditional T is still the stuff dreams are made of!

Guitar was ready to play right out of the case and the Burstbucker 1 & 2 pickups sound great. Fit and finish are excellent with no noticeable flaws on the guitar. I have mostly been a Fender player over the years and have now found a great time I've been missing.

Purchased this guitar last Friday and it was on my doorstep 9:00 Saturday morning, zZounds' customer service is outstanding, LP traditional plays and sounds fantastic, all that you would want from a guitar, I don't understand all of the negative reviews on the Internet about Gibson's quality control, every gibson I have owned has been pristine, if you want a LP and don't need all of the push pull coil splitting on the LP standard then buy the traditional, you will not be disappointed.

My 2017 Traditional arrived on time in flawless condition. The setup was decent right out of the box and was ready to plug in and play immediately. This is such an incredible guitar for the money and the exclusive run desert burst finish really makes for a great looking guitar. Its everything anyone could ask for in a Les Paul. I highly recommend this model.

Subject Gibson has completely and entirely stepped up their game! Product Rating What is your opinion of this product? Gibson from 2015 to present has dramatically improved their quality We can't let a few negative people ruin and destroy an iconic American company like Gibson. This is a fantastic example of a beautiful professional instrument delivering amazing tone and versatility. The finish is stunning, the neck plays so smoothly and the tone is unparalleled. I can't imagine music without these beautiful instruments. Buy a Gibson as they are a joy to play and beautiful to behold...they are still made in the USA, which practically nothing is anymore. Don't pass up this beauty made like the 1959 but with pleck'd frets and smooth sustain. I like to thank the amazing staff at zZounds for all they do for today’s musician!

For a less expensive alternative to a Les Paul standard this is our guitar. The fit and finish is as good as any modern Gibson. The Burtsbucker pickups were not as hot as I expected, but do provide a more vintage sound.

I’ve been playing since the Vietnam War was still raging, and this is probably my 11th LesPaul, but it is by far the best own I’ve ever owned. I bought the blemished honeyburst, and I’ve yet to find the blemish on it,but truth to tell I’m kind of busy playing the thing. It’s gorgeous to look at,and the case candy is actually practical, the tool will come in handy for my other Gibson’s and the strap Is pretty badass too. I was terrified of buying a guitar online, but this isn’t the first instrument I’ve purchased from zZounds and I’ve never been dissatisfied. I highly recommend these guys, and I’m trying to get some of the local bands on board with them because there isn’t many options to get quality instruments in such a manner, and I’m tired of them borrowing my stuff!! I gave 5 stars all the way for these guys, and 3 stars for manufacturers support because I’ve never used them.

"Best Les Paul ever."

This is probably my 10th Les Paul over the years and the first I’ve ever bought online,so I was kind of skeptical at what I’d be getting. Holy smokes this thing kicks ass! It rings like only a very very good LP can,and the pickups are the first I’ve not been tempted to change out right away. I purchased a blemished guitar and for the life of me I can’t find anything wrong,it’s absolutely beautiful, even my ex says it’s beautiful and she hates everything about me haha. I have a buttload of guitars but this one is the best electric by far,in fact I told my son it was his if anything happened to me and his previous disinterest in guitar changed quickly(he’s a keyboardist) I suspect I don’t have long to live haha. This is the best deal going, period.
