I have a lot of guitars, a few amps. I’ve never been 1000% brand loyal, or staunch about any particular piece of equipment, I just play what feels good, and sounds good. This guitar is amazing. I can’t seem to put a finger on it, or narrow what I love about it, and that leads me to believe that it’s EVERYTHING. It took me about and hour to put 11’s on it, adjust the action a bit (not much), and turn the truss rod a little. After that, I plugged straight in, and it was on. The neck is extremely smooth and fast, feels a little different than my other Les Pauls. The feel of the body is a little clunky, but after I got used to it, it’s not an issue. Other than the stunning looks of this guitar (pictures don’t do it justice) the high point is the pickups. Lately, I plug straight into my Marshall, and this thing takes off like an F-16. On the bridge pickup, with the gain all the way up, it’s all Randy Rhodes. I can get anything I want, harmonics, tapping, absolutely no loss in signal. Mixing the neck and bridge sounds just like Jimmy Page, and the neck alone sounds amazing. Like I said, straight into the amp, no effects other than a little reverb. I try to play my other guitars, but I just can’t put this one down right now. Highly recommend, especially for the price.

Soon as I took this guitar out of the beautiful snake skin hard shell case I was astonished at the over all look feel and quality that Gibson put into this guitar. The fret board is real smooth it’s made of rishlite but looks like ebony, the pickups are powerful especially for rock and metal but clean up extremely nice of that spanky strat kinda sound. The body is a beautiful satin finish and you can feel the wood grain as you run your fingers arcoss it. The Grover tuners work very well no tuning issues besides the notorious G string but after a minute of playing it it quickly fixes the problem. Action and string hight was amazing out of the box literally plugged and played. All thanks to zZounds and there amazing pay as you play I cannot express my excitement and gratitude enough thanks zZounds and Gibson for this amazing guitar

Right out of the case. Smooth play. Great action! Warm and heavy sounds! Bends are amazing. Wood looks beautiful. Feels beautiful. Sustain for days! It’s s les Paul. With a little different tone. Bad ass colors and a cool f’n case.

"LP Voodoo JuJu Freakin Nice but needed TLC"

Awesome for first LP, and it’s a freaking sweet, sexy and incredibly easy to play, coming from Tele’s and Strats. Problem that impeded me from instantly shredding or grooving as easy as I do now, was it neeed a setup. After adjusting the truss rod and action, and pickup height. This is a damn grovin monster of fun to play.
Sound
A new adventure playing a LP, coming from Fenders and Ibanez guitars. The feel is comfortable and easy to get fired up right away. Still getting use to the sound of a LP.

I wanted this guitar so bad then I seen it was on sale for 18 payments couldn’t pass it up well it came and ......it came along with some issues. First off the Guitar Input Jack was junk defect. Had to have that replaced and a set up because the set up Gibson done was not good. It plays nice now that it’s been fixed. But the frets are supper sharp on the edges. Never seen anything like it. Guess I can Pay to have them taken down a bit. Gee Gibson. Almost like owning a Harley
