Just a perfect guitar. The Les Paul I've been dreaming of is here!
Sound
The Gibson ceramic pickups have a lot of output and bite, yet remain warm and full. Just a big wall of sound coming out of every pickup setting - you can go from the cleanest of jazz progressions, to the heaviest metal, and the Les Paul classic will not miss a beat.
Features
Excellent quality materials - the "plus" top on my Les Paul classic is deep, figured, matched well, and beautiful. The baked maple fretboard appears much darker on my instrument than in the catalog pictures, which is a good thing! Otherwise, standard LP features - 4 knobs, a switch, tune-o-matic, lots of weight.
Ease of Use
Plug in, rock out. Could it get any easier? This one has a '50s profile neck, which is my favorite neck profile. It's large but not overbearing.
Quality
Excellent fit and finish - the new TonePros vintage-style tuners are fantastic, and hold tune quite well. No finish problems, fretwork, binding, and inlays are all top notch. As noted above, the figured maple top is absolutely gorgeous.
Value
It's expensive - but not overpriced. For me, this Les Paul has the sound, feel, and look I've been waiting for for years. I've owned PRS, Gibson, Fender USA, Parker, and none of these have had the total "package" together as much as this Gibson does.
Manufacturer Support
I've dealt with Gibson when dating old guitars, they've always been prompt and courteous.
The Wow Factor
This guitar OOZES sex appeal - I got the Midnight Manhattan finish, which is a dark blue burst. The amount of depth in the finish makes you drool. I've had a ton of comments on how beautiful this guitar is.

the sound is remarkable. good addition to my collection. i am a professional and i rely on my guitars to perform properly. the gibson les paul classic plus does the job perfectly! pickups are hot the neck is stable under heavy bending and the electronics are good. love the vintage tuners and the outlay of the whole guitar. very good job bringing back a classic with a new twist.

"gibson electric guitar"
I will tell anybody gibson makes the best guitar worldwide is no other to play out the melody other than a gibson. Any other make or model of a guitar both acoustic version or electric faulters is nothing like a gibson. Among the favorites of John Fogerty was the certain edition of the gibson electric guitar although he used old folk tale cheap amps in his live version performances with the gibson. cant help but respect fogerty for all that. Randy Rhodes had the highway going with the gibson to but no where like fogerty did. Fogerty was all about making his records the cheapest way possible and saleing his records for more than what they were really worth one of the biggest reasons why? he walked seperate ways with his bother and just supported fogerty all out for the money hunny.
