I've owned a lot of amps. a lot. Have tried around 17 ultralight heads since they hit the stores. This Rumble really checks most boxes and is relatively inexpensive. Not too big, not too small, easy to see and use, drive circuit (which I didn't originally love) actually adds some nice subtle color. Bought this as a back up to my other amps but end up using more than I thought. It has good power into 8 ohms. Many other lightweight amps seem a little weak. The Rumble puts out the power it should and it is just a great sounding amp. It even comes with a nice carrying case. Many much more expensive amps don't.Only two cons in my opinion. DI out is post preamp. So changing controls will alter the signal to a board. I'd like it better if it was pre. 1/4" speaker jacks. There are two of them and they work fine but I'd rather have speakons. Even one speakon 1/4" combo jack would be fine. Neither of these stop me form enjoying the amp. I have plenty of different speaker cabs and would rarely plug it into a PA unless one of my Bigger amps fails.

Just received this amp head today. I have to say I was worried about it distorting at a higher volume, but gladly proven wrong. This little bad boy will shake the windows and sounds just as good as my Ampeg SVT 350. The five year warranty gives me peace of mind. Way to go FENDER.

Got the rumble 500 amp head wow very nice don need to carry a big cab just bring my amp head plug in house cab and jam the pay plan sweet.i carry my amp head every were i go.thanks to zZounds.

I got the amp yesterday. I pulled it straight out of the box and took it to the stage to perfect. As soon as It powered up I was able to dial in sweet tones with the bright, contour, and vintage buttons. Also the overdrive is amazing and very musical and useable. Super light, loud, and ready to rock straight out the box. Buy this amp!
