I really like the dual overdrive circuits and the ability to either stack or blend the two sounds together. It's surprisingly versatile. Put it in front of a clean amp and it can go from subtle crunch to warm lead gain. On an amp without much headroom it kicks it into full gain nicely. It's not a metal chugga-chug pedal, just a good quality overdrive.

This pedal is in near constant use on my board. Tone A is kind of a clean boost with just a hint of overdrive depending on how you set it and Tone B just rips. I like it best ran in series, but I've gotten a lot of great sounds blending the two as well. When I add my Klon clone I can get as much dirt as I want. The build is sturdy and the design is clean and attractive, the gold really stands out on my board and the LED is not blindly bright like some. I love the battery compartment, I only wish more pedal builders did the same.In the end I think Fender could have just cloned a bunch of pedals and put out an inexpensive line but this pedal really feels like something kind of new, something they put some thought into and something that sounds just amazing with all of my single coil guitars.
