Bought the 2 tone sunburst model. Well made all around. Made my usual tweaks, D'Addario 9-42 strings, 2 springs in the back of the tremolo & lowered the action. After that it was playing fantastic. Love this guitar so much I bought another of the same exact model as a backup. Best looking & playing Strats. I have had in a long time. Thanks to Fender & zZounds!

Love the alder sunburst in the light. You cannot beat this for a quality Strat for the money at all. As good as any American made Strat and satin smooth. The Tim Shaw Fat '56 pickup awesome and love the added sounds of the S1 button on the volume knob. Has the newer two point tremolo they say stays in tune better, but other than that, looks like a vintage '50s Strat. zZounds is a savior with their 12 month payment plan.
