I can't help myself about buying more basses, but it would take a GREAT bass for me to put this one down.
Sound
I have owned (an still own)many basses. This bass with the EMG Humbuckers has a great solid bass tone. It is capable of producing a floor shaking low bass to a clean clear high tone. I play it through a Harke 4oo with a GK 115RHB cab, or a 100Watt Ampeg BA115. I sounds great through either system. I leave my 68 Fender Jazz, 82 Fender P w/active, Schecter Diamond, and Conklin GT4 w/Bartolini's in my closet.
Features
I love the neck-through feature, small dia. neck & overall feel. I had to change the position of the left strap attachment, because it was top heavy. I've had this bass for a year playing I on gigs (Blues, R & B, Classic rock)every weekend nothing has gone wrong. Solid.
Quality
Week after week this bass is their for me, no problem. I also use a five string Warwick on some songs, I trust the ESP as my main bass.
Value
It is well worth the money. I'm a pro and this is pro gear.
Manufacturer Support
I haven't need any service on this bass so I can't say about the repair service.
The Wow Factor
