I've had this guitar for about a week now, and it has absolutely exceeded my expectations. It's built like a tank and feels substantial, but has some of the best playability I have ever encountered in a baritone. And the sound of this thing...it does everything from shimmering cleans to the most brutal of high-gain riff-chugging madness!
Sound
This guitar can sound like everything from clean tones caressing your ears to elephants marching during a thunderstorm, and everything in between! For a guitar in this price range, I was honestly not expecting the stock pickups to be this good, and am in awe of just how great they sound for the music I play.
Features
This guitar doesn't have much in the way of fancy bells and whistles, but everything it has works like a charm. The volume and tone pots are smooth, the pickup selector switch seems very sturdy, and the basswood body combined with the 27" scale maple neck make for a guitar that rings out like a piano on the lower chords, and screams on the solos.
Ease of Use
As far as ease of use goes, despite this being a 27" scale guitar, everything is proportioned properly so it feels as close to playing a normal-scale guitar as possible. The playability on this guitar is unreal, the neck is a soft C shape that is nice and fast without being too small...once you pick up this guitar, it's very hard to put down!
Quality
Despite its price, this guitar plays and feels like it should cost twice as much. I see this guitar lasting me a very long time, and will definitely never be leaving my collection. It is very well-made, and an absolute steal at its price.
Value
This guitar is definitely worth what you pay for it and more, I am more than satisfied with mine, and will be jamming away on it for years to come!
Manufacturer Support
I haven't had to deal with manufacturer support with this guitar yet, and doubt that I will, with how well this guitar is made.
The Wow Factor
This guitar has pretty much everything I could ever want in a baritone (27" scale, Strat-style hardtail bridge, the awesome Viper shape) and that combined with the overall quality of the guitar makes for quite the wow factor indeed!!
