This company has the best customer service people I have ever dealt with. The guitar was shipped fast and was exactly what I wanted. The setup was spot on. The strings wthat come on the guitar are not cheap crappy strings. It was perfect right out of the box.I will be buying from zZounds again.

I'm loving this guitar, sounds outstanding, real nice action. Had a few problems when I first got it though, the Floyd rose was never set up correctly the tremal bar was all floppy and the tremal was tightened up to tight it back was dive bombing into the back of the guitar, took a while of looking up how to fix these problems, but now it's great !!

If your reading this review I take it your thinking about getting the Kamikaze. Well I purchased this guitar on a Monday and had it at my door on Wednesday so big shout out to zZounds. I have always purchased equipment from zZounds from amps and guitars to straps and picks and never been disappointed with customer service. Now for the guitar, I have had my eye on this guitar for several years I wanted to see the reviews that this guitar got. After reading everything I could get my hands on I decided to purchase the Kamikaze. When I opened the package I was amazed at the quality. I went over it with a fine tooth comb and found not one blemish. All I had to do was slap on some Willy G 10 guage strings do a minor set up and was ready to play. The neck on this guitar is fat and when they say jumbo frets they mean just that, but that's a good thing for me because I have large hands. I read somewhere that you had to take the neck off if you wanted to make adjustments but not true!!! has truss rod on headstock. Bridge pickups sound great for stock but neck would be fine if playing clean. I have several high end guitars and low end and for the price you can't beat this guotar. It's not a light guitar but then again not overly heavy like I though it would be. Stays in tune well even after some big time 80's dive bombs. The input for you cable is tucked into the body cavity pretty cool touch. I know the GL 500 is a very expensive but for the price you pay for this guitar all you have to do is replace pickups with Screaming Demons and still have a lot of cash left over. Didn't want to be long winded in this review but let me save you a whole lot of leg work. Buy it!! You get a lot of guitar that looks super cool and plays like a guitar you would pay double for. Kudos ESP and George Lynch for a awesome Well made and sexy guitar.

I am a pro guitarist and have been a fan of George Lynch for years. in fact I got to tech for him for a show. he is an extremely nice guy. this guitar is just amazing with out the $4000 price tag. when I received it, it needed a very minimal set up. I changed out the bridge pickup for a Seymour Duncan JB ( Georges preferred pickup of choice) and the guitar just smokes. the neck is to die for, it has a great feel and is solid. the frets are huge and feel perfect. the Floyd rose special stays in tune and is solid. I replaced the push/pull with a CTS push/pull and the jack with a switchcraft. and Bam a total monster. so for another $120.00 in parts and this guitar will rival any $1500.00 in it's class I used this guitar in the studio and never had to tune it once. on stage this guitar delivers. this is now my Go to guitar. I can afford really any guitar that I want. and I was totally surprised how much I love this guitar. I am going to buy another right away. do yourself a favor........BUY THIS GUITAR!...you will NOT be disappointed.
Sound
I was not fond of the bridge pickup (my choice) I changed it to a duncan JB and Boom there it is! just kills it! I also opted to change out the push/pull for a 500K CTS push/pull and changed the Jack to a switchcraft.
Features
everything is in it's right place. especially the vol knob. and the push/pull pickup selector is the bomb......does anybody really play in the middle position?
Ease of Use
The guitar is a plug and play unit right out of the box with very minimal set up. the changes I made were personal taste.
Quality
what can be said...PERFECT!
Value
are you Kidding? would you rather spend $4000.00 for basically the same guitar? this guitar is a huge bang for the bucks!
Manufacturer Support
ESP are very friendly and very helpful. GREAT COMPANY!
The Wow Factor
ok as I said you change a couple of things and this guitar is a MONSTER!
