"Amazing Work of Art"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I started on a Drive Wildfire, then I got my F-100FM, now I have this guitar and I know I'm set for awhile. Thie guitar has everything I need. Floy Rose, Mahogany Body, EMGS. Yeah, I'm pretty content with this beast.
Sound
I played this guitar on 2 amps, my tiny drive amp and a Krank amp(can't remember what model) at a music store. On the Krank it sounded fantastic although I didn't have much time to mess around with the settings. On my drive amp, it's not bad at all but not something you would wanna play live. Cleans are good and Distortion is great.
Features
EMG 81 and 85 combo, EMG afterburner, Sperzel locking tuners, original Floyd Rose with locking nut, Mahogany Body and one insanely awesome paintjob. Yeah, this will have me set and happy for awhile.
Ease of Use
It's pretty easy to use, pick up and play. The afterburner is something I'm not sure when I'll need or if I'll even use it but I'll figure it all out eventually.
Quality
The finish on the gutiar is beautiful. There are only 2 flaws in it. The bottom of the guitar has a little crack in the finish and the headstock has some rubbed off at the tip. However, these are both faults of the store's packaging so I'm still giving good quality rating.
Value
I hate it when people say that there should be a cheaper version for "us poor people." For what this guitar is, it's worth more than it's price. I even got a slight discount because of the 2 flaws mentioned above.
Manufacturer Support
I never dealt with ESP/LTD before but I'm sure that I won't need to with how well my other guitar(LTD F-100FM) is doing.
The Wow Factor
Just look at this guitar and tell me it's ugly and you wouldn't go near it. Impossible. It may appear "emo" to some people but that does not diminish it's beauty. Dan Jacobs had a great idea when he had this guitar design made.

If you don't own one, get one, that is if your into metal.
Sound
The EMG's give it a bone crushing METAL sound and the afterburner gives it the finishing touch.
Features
Stock EMG's w/ afterburner, floyed rose origenal, locking tuners, custom paint and inlays. I would $3000 for this guitar with features like that. And the single volume control is how i like all my guitars.
Ease of Use
Fits right in your hands.
Quality
Very well built. Made to take a beating on the road.
Value
The best value out there, you can't beat it.

I doubt I will ever trade this one in once I get it. It is an amazing piece of work.
Sound
This guitar sounded amazing when I tried it out. I used absoulutely no pedals, and a tiny Vox travel amp, and it saounded just like Dan Jacob's sound.
Features
The EMG pickups are Amazing. Doesn't get any better than that.
Ease of Use
This guitar is easy to play. The frets are all accessable, and the afterburn works great.
Quality
I could tell a lot of effort was put into making these guitars. They aren't some piece of crap made to look like Dan Jacob's guitar, it's built like it was made for him.
Value
I am saving up to buy this guitar right now. I will buy it the second I get enough money.
Manufacturer Support
Can't say I've dealt with this company before.
The Wow Factor
This guitar looks just great. On stage, it really contributes to stage prescence, all other guitarists are guaraunteed to bee envious!

"The Single BEST METAL GUITAR you can get ESPECIALLY at this price!!!!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Words can't really begin to describe how good this guitar is without sounding cliche' so I'll say this: There is no feature that'll be a dissapointment, and there is no being mediocre or average on this guitar.
Sound
EMG's and an afterburner, equals AMAZING!!! You want a powerful Metal sound? NO DO YOU WANT "THEE" METAL SOUND????? This is it and thensome
Features
The Tuners are awesome, the Floyd Rose is top notch, the push-pull tap for the afterburner is cool, the pickups and actual afterburner are HELLISH (in a good way), and the paintjob is Sick. Not much else you can ask for
Ease of Use
Clearly with ESP playability you won't be dissapointed and this thing is awesome. But this isn't a learner guitar by any means and the EMG's may frustrate new or younger guitarists as every sound made is audible.
Quality
The input jack has obviously been placed to prevent problems and is very sturdy. The guitar is very high quality and the only thing which should be noted is that the EMG's need new (typical 9volt) batteries every so often
Value
The Parts on this guitar basically cover the price, and considering the special paint job, and custom inlays, this thing is actually a really inexpensive guitar for what it is
Manufacturer Support
I've seen people deal with ESP and nobody has ever said anything bad about the support so I hope you have to deal
The Wow Factor
The radical shape is very metal itself but the SICK paintjob and Bat inlays really sell the guitar as an awe-inspiring instrument for METAL MANIACS.

Ease of Use
Very fast, smooth transitioning
Quality
The best on the market.

ESP LTD DJ-600 Dan Jacobs Customer Review

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
Ever listen to Atreyu? Those solos and Riffs are brilliantly recreated by this axe so long as you have the skill to wield it
Features
EMG Pickups and an afterburner, wow what more can you want? Oh right it's paint job is sweet
Ease of Use
Easy to use so long as you keep in mind that the EMG's pick up EVERYTHING. It did however sound gret even when I was just warming up on it and felt like a guitar I was familiar with which is something I don't get from many guitars.
Quality
The way the input jack it placed you don't have to worry about it coming loose and it is very rigid, this is a big complaint I have with many guitars. The locking tuners seem sturdy. It seems to be made with a high standard of quality
Value
EMG's and locking tuners are expensive that's about half the cost right there. The remaining cost could be covered by the custom inlays and afterburnerbut there is also the paintjob and the actual guitar
Manufacturer Support
I don't foresee you needing support for it and if you did I have heard the ESP staff are accomodating
The Wow Factor
I'd perform mob hits or sell my body to own this guitar. It looks amazing the shape is cool it feels cool and it has the Atreyu feel to it.
