"These do indeed fit the Ibanez 9 Strings"

These are great for replacing the flubby strings that come on the guitar from the factory. I’ve been using the EB 8 string skinny top heavy bottoms on my Ibanez RG80E and they sound amaze balls. They have perfect tension as well. These strings are those exact same strings but with the addition of the 105 string. Definitely needed for the low C string. Buy these, you’ll be happy.

I bought an Ibanez RG9QM-BI 9-string and the string gauges it came with were a little light for me. I think it was a .90 for the low C# string and it was just too loose. I bought this pack and it's fantastic! They sound great and the bigger gauges gave me the right feel and tension I was looking for. I'm not sure what happened to the other reviewer because my guitar has a 28" scale and these were plenty long enough. For being one of the only 9-string sets on the market, this is a great one!

"Way Too Short!!"

After having a mixed experience with EB strings for years, I decided to give them one last shot and buy some for my new Agile 9. The gauges look perfectly balanced for the tension and feel I wanted, and were affordable to boot, so I decided, why not?The low two were too short to even reach the nut. I dunno what these were designed to string up on but it wasn't a 30" scale or even 28" scale guitar I don't think, as the taper barely even reaches past the second fret on my guitar. These look like they were made for a much shorter instrument, as they seem like the perfect length for my 27" 6 string baritone, but that is entirely the problem. Tone wise, I can't comment make any comment on here due to the fact I tried stringing the lows first and got stopped like I had, and just packed these back up for spares. Honestly, if you're a fellow 9 string player and need strings with these same gauges, I would definitely look for a place to get custom sets done with the right string length instead of trying these. Kalium comes to mind. These ones just plain are not long enough.
