"AWESOME AND SIMPLE"

Just like the title, awesome and simple. I use this in front of a KSR Ceres Preamp to further color/boost the sound. This pedal adds a fatness and girth across all modes. Mode one really gives you a lot more gain and compression. The 2nd mode is one of the most transparent clean boosts I've ever encountered. And the 3rd mode is like a Maxon OD808 on steriods. You definitely get the tube screamer tone, but with a lot more balls and power. If you are looking for more sustain in your tone then this pedal is it. Used in a clean setting, it is sweet sounding too. Sounds very much like Cream or a super distored 70s Rock sound as well. Love and use it all the time! Haven't dealt with customer service, but they make killer pedals.

This is my first EQD pedal. Was not expecting the quality for the price. Lots of options with this pedal. The switch is extremely nice, no pop, just a smooth press and it's on. Of the 3 modes the middle position (op amp) is my favorite. Primarily used for clean boost, the biggest surprise for me was the amount of sustain it added to my sound. Played through a 5150III 50 watt, leads on the neck pickup of both of my guitars just sing, and go on and on. Love it so far, saving up for a EQD reverb pedal now that I see what all the fuss is about.

Absolutely incredible sounding and affordable. Innovative foot switching and 3 useful mode selections. Stacks really well with nobels and sounds great in a chain while not getting lost in the mix. USA built. Buy one or 2, they probably stack well together and would still be cheaper than most “boutique” drive pedals out there.

So far so good with the plumes. You can tell it's in the tube screamer family, but it has a sound completely unlike other variations I've tried. It's much brighter. Some folks talk about there being a 'blanket' on their tone. The plumes basically takes that blanket off the TS. It's bright, articulate, and less mid-heavy. All three settings sound great and have different uses. Can't beat the price. I don't think you will run and sell all your other TS variations, because they have a more classic rock, compressed sound that this one doesn't. But you may find yourself reaching for this one to cut through a mix better.

This pedal is bad ass. So many tonal options, and they all sounds great. And it's 99$! I own jhs pedals. Thorpy pedals. All are good. But this is every bit as good.

Just 2 minor tweaks - put the switch below the knobs instead of between them. It's virtually impossible to move switch without moving the volume/gain.- make the volume the same for all 3 switch settings.Had some loud popping from footswitch, but it stopped after moving it around on my board.
