Best value on the planet buy 1 or 3 before they jack up the price.
Sound
Sounds like a tube amp. What more needs to be said?
Features
"the best amp in the world has just one knob" - Eric Johnson
Ease of Use
One power switch, one volume. If you can't work it, put down your guitar.
Quality
Sturdy, beautiful, looks like it should cost more.
Value
If you find better, let me know. You do not need the extras the blackheart has. They detract from the tone. Use pedals to tailor the sound.
Manufacturer Support
Never had to deal with Epiphone.
The Wow Factor
Looks awesome.

"If you want features get another amp, if you want high quality sound, this amp is for you."

Overall, this is a great little amp. I wanted an amp that isn't necessarily the loudest or has the most features but I wanted an amp with the best possible sound quality. After trying out a bunch of different amps under 150 at the local music shop, I gave up a lot of features and went with this one.
Sound
I used to use an epiphone studio 10S amp that came with the guitar package I bought. That thing was a piece of junk so I don't have as high standards as some people, but I know what sounds good. This amp sounds very rich and full, just like a tube amp is suppose to. It carries the sound very good and just made my playing sound 100% better. I was going to upgrade guitars but after buying this amp, I think I will be able to hold off for a little longer. For being a 5 watt amp, this thing on low volumes is great for practicing in your bedroom. I cranked it up to max volume and it is very loud, louder then most people would use in their bedrooms. Overall the sound is excellent.
Features
This amp is all about simplicity. In the box you get a small manual and a power cord. On the front panel there is a rocker on/off switch, an input jack, and a volume knob. I actually like how simple this is, very consistent sound. If you want effects you will need to use a pedal, or you can just adjust the tone and volume on your guitar for some effects. Overall, it really doesn't have any features besides being a high quality sounding amp.
Ease of Use
Along with lack of features comes simplicity, and simplicity means great ease of use. Simply plug it in, turn it on and wait for a few seconds for the tubes to warm up, plug in your guitar and you play. No need to adjust thousands of knobs, you start hearing great sound right away.
Quality
I have only had the product for 2 days, so I can't comment on long term quality, but I can say that the fit and finish are excellent, really a nice, high quality finish. It seems like this amp could keep on chugging for a long time, just seems very high quality. Also comes with a 5 year warranty. I know with my Epi LP I have had absolutely no problems so I am optimistic that I won't have any problems with this.
Value
You could get an amp that has more features, but you'd have to settle for a solid state amp. You are paying for the great tube sound of this amp. I would definitely say if you don't need tons of features, this amp is a great value
Manufacturer Support
Never had to use it.

I think this amplifier will last me for a long while. If it were lost or damaged in any way I would not hesitate to replace it. I really can't complain about this amplifier other than the strap, which isn't a major issue at all.
Sound
I was previously using a Marshall MG15 dfx solid state amplifier. This was my first tube amp and I am extremely happy with it. It's got a much richer tone and it keeps it's tone at high volumes unlike my Marshall which began to crackle and hiss at higher volumes. This amplifier is great for people who enjoy playing John Lennon or Jimi Hendrix. I play alot of Pearl Jam on this and it sounds great!
Features
The amplifier didn't come with anything and it's only feature is a volume knob. But, to tell the truth, that's all you really need. I use this for practice and occasional recording and it does the job flawlessly.
Ease of Use
It doesn't get any easier than this. It's just got one knob!
Quality
Very nice, it's leather with a basket weave type material over the speaker and it has built in stands to keep it propped upright. My only complaint is its' handle. The 2 pieces of metal that secure it to the amplifier scrape pieces off of the strap everytime you life it up. It wont last very long, but it's an easy problem to sovle. They should definitely think about adding a more sturdy handle.
Value
This is a great value! My Marshall amplifier was 189.99 and this far surpasses it in every category for 50.00 less!
Manufacturer Support
I have never dealt with them.
The Wow Factor
Very, very nice looking amplifier. If you're a fan of the beauty of simplicity then you'll love the way this amplifier looks.

"Its OK"

Overall: 3.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
yeah i think its ok, if i lost it i would be a little ticked, but i would regroup and buy something else like the roland cube maybe.
Sound
My girlfriend uses this amp with her keyboard when we write music and practice. I removed the stock speaker, which didn't sound very good, and replaced it with a Jensen P8R, much better. I also replaced the tubes with EH's and use George L's cables. So there is little hum at low volumes. With the keyboard this thing cranks out some loud sound. we put the amp up on a table next to the keyboard and it does well against my Traynor YCV40WR set at low volumes (which I didnt expect). I have played guitar thru it, and it sounds ok... 6/10 rating for guitar sound, 7.5 for keyboards.
Features
It just does volume... which some might consider a negative, some a positive... so i give it a 7, cause i think it could swing both ways.
Ease of Use
plug it in, plug in instrument, turn on, adjust volume. a sea monkey could do this.
Quality
i replaced the stock speaker, which is junk. i also replaced the tubes, cause i dont like sovteks (personal opinion). there is a lot of hum with the guitar at volumes half way up and higher that my traynor doesnt get, it just seems to be a cheap tube amp that sounds ok. its worth the money cause its not expensive.
Value
for the money its ok. i dropped some extra to make it sound better, but not much. i payed less when i bought it, and wouldnt pay much more for it.
Manufacturer Support
havent called epiphone.
The Wow Factor
very little sex appeal.
