Epiphone AJ-100 Jumbo Acoustic Guitar

The Epiphone AJ-100 is a great guitar for beginners or veterans. With a jumbo body for added low end, the Epiphone AJ-100 is a fine choice.

"Epiphone aj 100"

The jumbo gives a very good sound that rings and carries the bottom and neck is just fine if you set the action up correctly. I did play some that looked like the epiphone that sounded boxy but I didn't check to see if the numbers were the same .I wouldn't buy any guitar that I couldn't run my fingers across and hear the sound and feel the neck for myself. My epiphone is a GREAT little campfire guitar that stays in tune and is a great buy foy a $100 guitar.

This guitar is messed up, i've never seen a guitar that won't play any notes from 4-15 on every string neck looks straight, probably needs the frets filed down. Look elsewhere if you are looking for a decent guitar for a cheap price this is not a good choice.
Sound
sound isn't bad it could be better but this guitar will need some work before I can judge it fairly
Features
usual guitar nothing special
Ease of Use
I should I bought a cheap ibanez I think it would have been better
Quality
Ok here is the problem. I own a couple of epiphone les pual standards and they are fine. I thought I would give this guitar a shot because it was cheap and I wanted something I didn't need to plug in. From the fourth fret up to the fifteenth fret is completely dead. nothing buy fret buzz on every string on every fret from 4-15. That is a lot of problems for one guitar, i could see if it was just a few frets that buzzed but it's the whole neck. In it's current condition I wouldn't give ten dollars for it. maybe I got a lemon, maybe they are all junk. This is the first poor review i've given epiphone.
Value
buy an ibanez they are cheap have nice tone and will hold up well
Manufacturer Support
good luck if you want the hassle of dealing with sending the guitar out pay for shipping all that junk.
The Wow Factor
not sure if i will send the guitar back or if i will have someone look at it and fix it myself, If you have been playing longer than a year or just don't have the money to dish out for a nice guitar stay away from this one. Yamaha also makes a decent acoustic guitar for a reasonable price.
