Wanted a coated bass string set for playing summer outdoor festivals. Decided to have fun with the DR Neon colors. They feel great and look fantastic. Was pleasantly surprised at how great the strings sound also! My new favorite bass strings.

I have been buying the Black Beauties for a several years now and they always perform. I switched from playing Musicman equipment to Lakland basses, but I have stayed with the DR strings! Their tone is very solid, and I get a lot of comments on how great they look!

These are some of the best overall strings I've used. The B is tight and all of the strings are bright, but not harsh.

These will change your tone!! If your looking for definition look somewhere else. Very comfortable to play, look badass, they look like they belong on a "metal" bass, but unfortunately the coating kills the tone.
