Sound
I recorded some guys with this unit and RODE NT1000. Some people were convinced it was Avalon and U87. This unit can make your album gold. I have the best Behringer stuff. Can not compare with this.

This is a fantastic product. The features are superb. With a tube replacement (comes stock with chinese tubes) this unit will sound like equipment costing twice as much. Conversion is very good. An all round great product from a great company.
Sound
The AD converters on this card are ok. But the main reason for the great AD conversion is that the internal clock is quite good. DBX told me the jitter was < 100 picoseconds. I don't know where the measurement was taken from but even if it was taken at the oscilator it's still not bad at all. So the conversion is very good for this price range. Soundwise, it's decent but a bit smeary across the spectrum. this can be fixed easily and for little cost with a vacuum tube replacement which I did. Sound is rich and clear and depth of field is way improved now.
Features
What can I say? DBX thinks of almost everything. It has pretty much everything you need to fit it in to your rig.
Ease of Use
Easy to use when you already know the basics of recording. Very clean design.
Quality
Quality is very good. Strong, durable. well built and attractive.
Value
For all the features that you get in this unit your should expect to pay 200-300$usd more.
Manufacturer Support
Customer service has always been quite good. What technical info the tech guy didn't have available for me he researched and called me back and left a message with my answers. Very nice!
The Wow Factor
It's very attractive and has pretty colored lights.
