DBX has always been great in my opinion. The DBX 223XS is a great simple crossover.

"Quality Crossover From DBX That Does The Basics Well"

Very simple and straighforward operation. DBX quality with a solid warranty behind it,the 223XS does the job well while also being quiet. This replaced a Behnringer 2496LE that died during a gig,six months after purchase. We loved the extra options within the 2496LE(limiters,EQ,presets,etc) but it proved to unreliable. So,back to Old Reliable, a DBX crossover like we had back in the day, this time a 223XS. No extras included, only what you need. No surprises just solid performance. We use it with two DJ rigs;one is stereo 12" tops with 15" sub, other is stereo 15" tops w 18" sub. While they require slightly different settings, it easy to keep track or adjust on the fly to get the desired sound quickly. All good, dig DBX reliability.
