I'll give this amp 8.5 out of 10. I've really grown to like it and the work put into the DSP and EQ sections was worth the effort.
Sound
Typical solidstate amp. Don't expect that "classic tube sound" from this pounder. It's very versitile, but it takes work. Anything from SRV to Yngwie is possible with a minimum of external devices (extra EQ is all you need). It's loud but doesn't get muddy, great at low volumes (the main advantage of solidstate technology).
Features
More than an average user needs but great for the tweak minded. The only beef I have with this amp is the manner in which the effect rate is set (the tap button). Works well but I'd rather have a dedicated digipot to set the attack/delay time of effects.
Quality
No problems with fit or finish. Very heavy duty and well made.
Value
Good price. Just about what I paid for a not-so-good sounding solidstate amp in 1983.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't had any problems so can't rate.
The Wow Factor
Didn't really catch my eye at first. But the DSP is the "sexy" part of this amp.

I will use it until it decides to move on. Something else will be available by then and so..............
Sound
It's among the best sounding solid state amps available. The DSP is where the difference is. With the supplied footswitch you can select effect setups and save them, bring them up with the footswitch during your performance. It took me a while to get the hang of it, but in the end it is really very simple to figure out. You probably won't need any pedals, anyway the pedals would add up to much more than this amp cost. It's hard for me to explain what "tone" is in words, but in a loud band setting this amp blends in very well. That being said, you cannot honestly evaluate an amp at a music store. My sound rating number is compared to other solid state amps, not tubers.
Features
The footswitchable DSP is great. It's size and weight is an advantage.
Quality
Looks and feels solid, nothing loose or rattling.
Value
It's an amp you don't have to worry about, and you can get usable sounds from it. I don't know if a scooter would haul it, but it will sure go along in a taxi!
Manufacturer Support
Never used it.
The Wow Factor
It looks like a sophisticated piece of equipment. I wish the writing by the knobs was big enough to read without a magnifying glass.
