As long as the slider switches hold out, I'd expect it to continue. Might need another one, though. I wish I had been able to use it a year or so before buying it, but then I would have, honest! Seriously I had a hard time because other suppliers could not get me one of these, and I wondered if it was being obsoleted before I'd even heard of it. Don't do this until you have something better. Plus the "Made in China" could be better, if it were replaced with "Made in USA".
Sound
I really only bought it for the RCAs, and that it could do 24/96. I needed that kind of interface (USB) for my laptop, and wanted good quality for transferring my LPs and 78s, with a new preamp (yes, analog) I got for RIAA. So I now have a high-quality equivalent to those USB turntables you see. The UA4FX has not disappointed. I have not used it for the effects, or with a synth, but I'll get to that; give me time!
Features
As stated above, haven't begun to use it all. So far it wotks fine as a USB A-D converter. Expect to use it all eventually.
Ease of Use
For what I've used it for, great. I used the Cakwalk synth stuff just with my keyboard to play the piano etc. Sounds very cool. Need to get a MIDI rig.
Quality
Well worth the extra coin for the Roland name and some confidence in the quality. It will get used musically and will be dependable. Worst is the size of the switches: the sliders do not seem like the kind that last, and the positions are hard to distinguish.
Value
OK or I'd have gotten a refund.
Manufacturer Support
So far so good but I've never dealt with the maker or the seller.
