"DON'T HESITATE!!!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Look,I already see allot of Bugera bashing taking place on the net. This is from guys who haven't even test driven the unit,or have listened to sound clips online. If your into the whole name dropping thing, than please do us all a favour and don't comment.
Sound
Hands down,THE BEST BANG FOR BUCK PERIOD!!!I own an original 5150 Block Letter, and with a few tweaks on the tone knobs it sounds almost identical, but quieter,BRUTAL DISTORTION,a far better clean channel than the 5150 and Reverb. And for $450 bucks, you can afford to buy both the 6260 and a 333,and still be under a G note,FANTASTIC!
Features
Includes a very sturdy, all metal,4 button footswitch, with REAL BUTTONS,not those crappy little nipples spread 2 inches apart that you end up pushing simultaneously.
Ease of Use
If your familiar with the 5150 or 6505,you won't be disappointed,remember it's $450 bucks for a brand new amp,unless your a profesional musician,or a tone snob,you won't be disapointed.
Quality
Built like a tank, nice tight smooth pots, should last a very long time.
Value
Look,if you wan't a Marshall, buy a Marshall, but if you wan't a fantastic amp with that great American Metal Tone, than this is it!And keep in mind unlike the 5150 or 6505,this can be biased for EL34 Tubes with the flick of a switch.
Manufacturer Support
I guess i'm fortunate,i've owned many amps over the years and have never had to deal with customer service,or any type of serviceing for my amps.
The Wow Factor
Great looking amp,it's basically a 5150 copy!

"Do not overlook this amp"

This is my head until i break it. I'm sure it will last for a while and i will be the cause of its demise :)
Sound
The sound quality on this amp is pretty good. For the price it is damn near amazing. The only issue I have with it is that the effects loop when running through the foot switch bleeds through. It is a very low level that comes through, but it still comes through. The clean channel sounds tight. I play active 81/85 pickups and they have a crisp sound to them clean which is unusual for them with the previous amps i have played through. When i play standard humbuckers or single coils they shine! The bright setting boosts the highs to where it sounds like you have a compressor in your loop bringing the highs out, and a chicken pickin tone. When switching to crunch (manually) it has good distortion tone. Not quite the nasty chunking rhythm that metal heads would go crazy for but a good distortion. The Lead channel is right down my alley with a crazy amount of distortion.
Features
Clean and lead both have their own presence and reverb controlls, also the reverb can be engaged or disengaged with the foot switch. i give it an 8 because the footswitch options are clean-lead-reverb-efx loop. If it had an option to go on the crunch setting it would be complete!
Ease of Use
Plug into your guitar, and rock. Never understood how the presence worked seeing this is my first tube head and instructions are no help. Seems to pick up the percussive picking attack better with it cranked.
Quality
Bought mine as a BLEM. well worth it. I will be banging it up while gigging so why not save 100 and let the factory put the first scratch in it.
Value
Crushing EVH 5150/6505 style tone for 450? Come on this is a no brainer. I was looking into used marshall heads and for the price you cant come close to touch anything with 6 preamp and 4 power tubes.
Manufacturer Support
When purchasing the tube head, the first one I ordered was missing the footswitch. I contacted zzounds and behringer. Bugera's email took about 3 weeks to respond just to tell me to call the behringer costumer support number. After calling them and waiting on hold for about 20 min they suggested that i return the unit back to zzounds. They said they could send a new footswitch, but would have to pay shipping. so it seems that if you do have an issue they will attempt to work with you even if the solution will not be in your best interest. It was easier to return the old one to zzounds and purchase a new one.
The Wow Factor
Thinking of taking off the Bugera lettering on the front to keep people guessing.

"The best $500.00 I ever spent.... actually I don't think I paid that much..."

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
I bought the 6262 about a year ago, I love the amp. The 2 totally separate channels was a selling point for me, I use a Soldano 2 x 12 sealed back bottom, it has lots of low end and i can crank up the clean channel for that SRV sound.... I play Rocking Blues, and some modern county country. it is an amp for all uses.....if you would like to hear it live outside, got to MCIBLUES.com....I had it on about 3....with some pedal compression.... axxmann@gmail.com
Features
2 Channels
Quality
i was pre warned by my amp tech that there were some problems in the beginning but I have had no problems with this amp....
Value
Come on 120 watts 2 channels under $500.00....can't tell you what I paid for my 100 watt Marshall 30 years ago, but it was a lot more than that....
Manufacturer Support
They are not easy to ask question of, I wanted to extend the pedal wire because I do some larger stages, no one knew anything....

"You will not find a better amp, period!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
You can't get much better than these amps, both in the sound and in the price for sure! If anyone feels that there are amps that put out better sound, it's in the field of preference rather than actual quality of sound. I'd also like to note (due to the numerous people trashing these amps before they even try them) they are not, I repeat, NOT made by Behringer! Behringer is simply advertising for them. These amps are made in an entirely different factory! And from what I can tell it's a freaking sweet factory to dish these out for so cheap!
Sound
I saw this guy at a local music store, and have been curious for months about the sound it puts out, so now I had my chance to find out. I have to say, I was absolutely astonished at the amount of gain it put out, yet how sweet the clean channel could be. This amp is definately for the metal player! Not too much noise with gain cranked, it's there like any high gain amp, but it's not a rediculous amount of buzz at least. The biggest selling point for me (aside from the price tag) is the attack and dynamics. VERY tight for a tube amp, thus it's perfect for metal, maybe a big too tight for bluesy and jazz type people, but I personally hate the generalization of tube amps and loose flabby tone, so i love this one.
Features
This amp is great in itself, all the distortion you could ever need, the reverb isn't half bad either. I give it a 9 simply because the slightly more expensive Bugera has a noise gate built in, that would be a nice addition for this too, but it is still excellent.
Ease of Use
it's a tube amp, enough said. The controls mean what they mean. And from the looks of these amps, it is VERY easy to set the bias when you swap tubes.
Quality
It looks very solidly build, no corners taken if you ask me. I can't give it a 10 simply because I tested in the store and can't comment on its long term durability. But it does look very nice!
Value
This rating should go to 15!
Manufacturer Support
10 here simply because I obviously haven't given them a call, just tested the amp.
The Wow Factor
Absolutely amazing amp! I have been sold for Bugera. My next purchase once I'm in the market for a tube amp will be one of these beasts hands down!

I think this amp falls in the middle of all the amps, i liked it better than a few other amps i tried. I set out to buy a different amp, but then i played on this baby and my search was done.
Sound
Ohh man! I've owned and gigged with plenty of boutique amps in my time. This amp blew me away..incredible sound for an incredible price. I was skeptical at first when i saw it on here, then i saw it at a local music store, took my Gibson LP standard in and bought it right there! I play alternative and rock and im happy with the gain at about 2, thats crazy!...However when i put it on my american strat i needed more volume....I love the clarity of the sound, it leaves alot of the sound to the guitar itself. I noticed that the amp was greatly different between my aresenal of guitars..However it was awesome for every single one!! Now a previous review said unless your a professional musician or a tone snob you don't need this amp. Well I am a professional musician and a tone snob and I love this amp!!
Features
The footswitch is very nice...as previously mentioned it is rock solid.
Ease of Use
Controls are easy to understand from the get go. Its your standard setup.
Quality
Good quality, everything looks and feels solid. The footswitch is worth mentioning here...its seems really really solid.
Value
This amp is rock solid, very versatile, and low priced. This amp gets high marks here. I would have paid alot more for it
Manufacturer Support
I don't think you'll ever use it.
The Wow Factor
Now this amp is in the berhinger family, which isn't a bad thing. The flashy "i want it" factor isn't there like costlier brands, but the tone and quality are ALL there.

"Definetly give it a try....."

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
This is a very good amp. I highly recommend it, and am looking forward to years and many shows using this amp.
Sound
This thing is a beast, and it sounds great. Im relatively new to using tube amps and this one is by far one of the best ones ive played. I can pretty much dial in anything I can think of. I mainly play metal, but I like to mess with a lot of classic rock and blues style's as well. It's a very versatile amp for the money.
Features
Im used to solid-state modeling amps, so i guess ive been a bit spoiled, haha. It's definetly something to get used to though. The majority is right, "tubes are the way to go". Simple yet very powerful.
Ease of Use
No complaints, it's very easy to use.
Quality
So far so good. I just recieved it couple of days ago, so we'll see.
Value
Not bad compared to most tube amps out there.
The Wow Factor
Yea it looks sharp, and just seems to stand out.

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars

i will keep it till she blows ..?L
Sound
ive owned and gig with the 5150 for along time it had issue after alot of use/abuse ect.. i bought one of these cause the price and a guy i know gigging in another band let me check out his before we took the stage..and to say the least i was impressed... i at that time hadn't even heard of bugera.. but i was blown away by the live powerful tone sounded just like my peavy evh and when i asked what one cast? lol i needed some toilet paper.. so a put a few buck in the wind and got one... sound great 6 months out twice a week and no issues here couldnt be better witht htis head...
Features
lots , solid built board do wish it had a independent cable between the head and the midi pedal/controller so -1 for that but lot to tweak
Ease of Use
strait forward tweak it and get the tone tuned in your after .. fool proof..
Quality
materials / build on mine are top of the line the is solid and weights a ton... better tone than an old Ampeg lee Jackson vl1002 high gain head i use fr a while back some years ago...(as a back up..lol) but alot of the same stuff and if this amp was made to this build here in the U.S. ...lol it would be maybe a few buks less than any Marshall peavy EVH or top shelf head out there ....
Value
beat value this gear hound has found yet

"6262 kills 6505"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
I can't see myself buying another amp for a long while.. Unless I hit big at the races, then I might buy an ENGL Powerball, Mesa Boogie Mark IV, or a Badcat....
Sound
This head is supposed to rival the Peavey 6505... In my opinion, it buries it!! The cleans are amazing, the crunch channel is perfect for classic rock, the lead channel has more gain than you'll ever need... I run this through a Mesa Boogie 4x12 and the only thing I run on my effects loop is a boss tu-2 tuner, ibanez vintage reissue tube screamer, and a vox wah. Through my tele, there is a little ground noise but I believe that's just the single coils... Through my ibanez rgt42, it sings like no other amp.... I've played through marshalls, randalls, fenders, B-52's, crates, peavey's.. none of them match the sound I got out of this... Only boutique amplifiers can surpass the quality of this amp.
Features
I like everything on this amp. The only thing I didn't like is that the crunch channel couldn't be independently activated on the footswitch. Everything else is great!!!
Ease of Use
It was great, I just dialed everything at 12 o clock and went from there.. It was a breeze to get the sound I wanted..
Quality
Everything is solid so far, no problems with shaky rotary knobs or anything of that sort, I guess I'll just have to wait a few more months to really know if these amps are built to par.
Value
Amazing... I almost bought a 6505+, until I found this amp.
Manufacturer Support
I haven't dealt with behringer before...
The Wow Factor
I like that you can see the tubes and everything thats going on inside. If this amp was a woman.. I'd probably propose to it.

"Great tone for the money!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
I suppose only time will tell if this head will last me a while. So far, I love the sound and love getting comments about how good this thing looks and sounds. I gig every weekend and have not had any problems with this amp. Of course only time will tell if this thing will last gigging every weekend.
Sound
I originally got this to be a backup to my Peavey Ultra 120 full stack. Since my Peavey head ended up in the shop last week with dead power issues, it was "batter up" for the Bugera 6262 last night at the gig. Let me say this amp kicks major butt!! The tone once tweaked is insanely awesome!! Sounds a bit brighter than my Peavey and reminds of my buddies' 5150 in tone. Gobs of gain!! I had more questions about my Bugera last night than I ever got from my Peavey or the Marshalls I've owned in the past. This amp is LOUD with lots of headroom!! We normally mic my Peavy at this club but the sound tech heard me jamming during setup said we don't need to mic that bad boy! Overall, if you want piercing through the mix lead solos, insane distortion and good cleans then this amp can give you what you want. I say good cleans because I think my Peavey actually sounds better on the clean channel. I've been Marshall fan for over 20 years before recently switching to Peavey. So far I'm extremely impressed with the Bugera tone!! And I'm using Peavey Windsor Cabinets which are not tops but also not bad. A+ in tone Bugera!
Features
These are pretty basic. I gave it a 9 because the 333XL model has a noise gate and it would have been nice to have that extra feature on this model. Although I have a Boss noise suppressor on my SKB pedal rack, it still would have been nice to have this as a built in feature. But, Bugera does get good marks for making it easy to swap from EL34 or 6L6 tubes. There's even a jack for the bias probe and a knob to adjust the bias.
Ease of Use
Basically it's plug n play and adjust to your tastes. But remember kiddo's,,, this sucker is LOUD!
Quality
It seems well built. I have seen pics that someone posted on harmony central of shoddy soldering and circuit boards on these amps. I popped the top on this one the day I got it and let me say the workmanship is top notch. With that said, I also notice that it does have plastic knobs but that was the only weakness I noticed. I think if you're careful with your gear like I am then you won't have any issues with things breaking off. I think those kinds of problems happen to people who are less careful with their gear. I pack all my in padded cases before taking them on or off stage. And I don't bang my gear around and I limit the "help" I receive... Because most times stuff happens when someone is "helping" you. Gave it a 9 because it's a new model and new models tend to have more problems.
Value
Are you kidding?? Value? We're talking the tone, sound, and I'd say better quality than the Chinese made Marshall/Peavey amps for about the same price. Yes, in case you didn't know, Peavey and Marshall both have Chinese made amps among their lower priced ranks, which happen to be similarly priced with the Bugera. So take your pick name snobs. Is it really a Marshall or Peavey when they are mass produced in China? Or does it really matter where it was made so long as it was made right! Same can be about guitars and the Asian vs USA made guitars.
Manufacturer Support
I am not sure how this will work out in the long run as I've only had this amp a few weeks. I own other products from Behringer including a PA system that gigs EVERY weekend without any issues and sounds better than systems costing 2x more. But I can't say Behringer will be any better or worse than say Marshall. I had a Marshall JCM 2000 that was 2 years old and the footswitch went bad and their response was that the footswitch was not covered under the 5 year warranty. I've never had to contact Behringer for support and I've owned their products for years.
The Wow Factor
It's very sexy! Seeing the tubes glowing is really cool. That was one complaint I had with Peavy/Marshall is that they cover the front up and leave people wondering what's inside. I had tons of compliments on it last night from both musicians and non-musicians.
