So I recently bought the Bugera 333xl with infinium technology. If you do not know what that is Bugera is the only company that has it so research it because this product is worth buying based on that alone. But I want to hit on the sound. I saw this amp compared to ENGL amps online and was outperforming them in my book but today I tried out a Mesa Boogie combo that had all the same features minus the infinium technology. I tried it out with a Schecter C-1 Hellraiser Diamond series which is the same I have at home and they were comparative, the Bugera though is much more affordable and has a better look if you are into that sort of thing....so stop reading reviews and purchase this amp...

This amp seems to do it all from crisp cleans to heart pounding in your face metal. Seems solidly built and looks nice too. Haven't had to use the manufacturer so no comment there. Only had it for a couple of weeks so to early to tell about the durability but hopefully Ill get many years of play out of it. Zzounds was great and it shipped super fast.

Look If you are a fanboy of the big name brand amps than don't bother. Just like Goldmember said "Then there is no pleasing you" If you want one of the best sounding amps out there and like to have money in your pocket and hate giving cash away to amp techs then get this amp. For the price of a 5150 or JSX you could have this and the 6262 combo. Clean is great, crunch is great, lead is great. No need to bias the amp so no need to shell out money to a technician. Reverb sounds great. When looking for review for this amp it is important to look at the date of the review. Yes, there was a bad connector in the first runs of these amps but not the infinium models. They are rock solid. EQ works well. It comes with the footswitch. 40 days return at Zzounds so if you don't like it send it back but at $499 what is not to like? I plan on getting the 6262 infinium combo as well. I did the flexpay and Its only 4 payments of 125. Crazy good deal! Stock tubes are fine but I tossed in 4 Tungsol 12ax7's in the pre-amp and it really sounds great now.

"Nice amp for the money"

The Bugera 333XL is a good sounding amp. If you are expecting a Marshall or Twin Reverb sound, don't buy this amp. The reverb sounds canned, when you remember to turn it on as it doesn't stay on of itself. It doesn't live up to all it's claims but then what does? I've tried many settings and, regardless, it still sounds "thin". I've played my SG and my Tele through it and it sounds OK. Like I said, it's a nice amp for the money.

This is my amp. If proven reliable I would definitely Buy another one if lost or stolen.
Sound
The sound is incredible! I now understand how so many people who have bought this amp either sold or kept their "High Dollar" amps as a backup! This thing blows so many amps out of the game! You want old school AC/DC? It's there! Want Metallica? It's there! Want Slayer? It's there! Want Megadeth, John Pretrucci, Yngwie, Van Halen, Lamb of God, Pantera, Joe Satriani, Mastadon, Black Sabbath, Blackmore? Hell it even does the Beatles with a clean that stays clean an overdrive from blues to Alternative whatever! And a lead tone Zakk would like!
Features
Foot controller has a really long cord! Works great and the boost function via effects loop is awesome too. Just wish you could switch reverb off and on with the foot controller. And the stickers for labels suck. No biggie though since the leds light a different color for each setting. Overall this thing is a beautiful looking amp! Huge leather handle, chrome corners, chrome plastic knobs, Black all over! Well it looks just like a Peavey xxx/ jsx 2 12 combo! Speakers sound very good, good response a little crisp. Bugera has some negative reviews out there and the first one I received died in 20 mins operation bedroom volume. That's ok cause they sent me a working one right away!
Ease of Use
If you cant get a great sound out of this amp, then you probably are one of those people who paints by number with artist's settings on their amp. Check this out, the controls have a 0 a 5 and a 10 no numbers in between. Do you know what that means? USE YOUR EARS FOR TONE not your eyes! Very Musical, Very responsive great tube tone! You can even put any octal tube el34, e34l, 6l6, kt88 mix or match!
Quality
The first one shipped died in 20 minutes of bed room volume after half hour stand by. That being said, I do understand how far these things get shipped and the Fed Ex driver delivered the second one upside down( and it traveled that way in his truck.) Well the second one WORKS perfectly. Mind you this can happen with high dollar amps too and it does. I have not operated this amp long enough to clearly state reliability but if it always sounds this good, it better last! The warranty is up to a year on manufacture defects and 90 days for tubes. That's pretty darn good and they don't seem to have a problem making things right. ( Watch the youtube vids and look down at the comments!)
Value
Buy one for fun since their cheap, buy one for real and the tone cant be beat in this price range! Absolutely worth it.
Manufacturer Support
No. But ZZounds takes care of you first. And they do! No hassle return and replacement within the next business day!
The Wow Factor
It looks good sounds good is good! This amp has the tones I have been chasing! Sounds great at low and high volumes I can play the small and large venues with this incredible tone machine. Go try one!
