I took a gamble on this guitar and ordered it after researching as much as possible. The gamble paid off. Breedlove has a winner here. This guitar projects a well balanced sound unplugged. I tested the LR Baggs pickup into my Turbosound 500 pristine highs and lows. No quacky piezo pickup sound. Thanks Zzounds!

So I ordered this guitar on Tuesday afternoon and it arrived today(Friday). I was kinda nervous ordering an acoustic guitar that said it came with a gigbag and not a case. When she arrived, the sides in the upper portion of the box were caven in. When I picked it up, I could hear another box inside the bigger box moving around. Upon opening the bigger box, I pulled out the smaller box containing the guitar in its gigbag. Well, it's more like a high quality soft case than a gigbag. It is very thickly padded with the Breedlove name embroidered on the large zippered pocket. The soft case has 2 other nice size pockets as well. One for possibly sheet music, the large one for maybe a polish cloth or a tablature book and one for picks and a decent length cable. Now for the guitar. I wasnt sure what to expect from this manufacturer as I've never played one of their instruments. Upon removing her from her case, I took note of just how beautiful her fit and finish was. The striking appearance of the Ziricote was the first thing I noticed directly out of the case. The woodgrain is so beautiful and has kind of a 3D effect if you move it around in the light. Just looking at the deep browns and red hues of the Ziricote is a bit intoxicating. This guitar came set up very nicely from the factory with low action. There are no dead notes and no strings choke out on bends. She has a very nice rich sound. The low end has a great balanced sound without being muddy. The top end is crisp and clear with a very nice bell- like quality to it. The midrange is punchy without being too in your face. Overall, this is a beautiful sounding and playing instrument and I would definitely buy another Breedlove guitar from zZounds. Thank you zZounds for the fast service and great selection of instruments and manufacturers.
