Over all I am very satisfied with this purchase. It was not my first choice, but for what I got for the price it was worth every penny. Most guitarists (and I'm not saying this to make anyone upset it's just what I've seen during my years in the music industry) hear from every other guitarist that if you want to sound good you have to put down some serious cash. If you believe this then sure go ahead and lay down $30,000 for a vintage tube system it's your money. But realistically, you just need something that does exactly what it's supposed to, your talent will fill in the rest. A $30,000 system won't help you play better.
Sound
I have played with a lot of gear over the years, and Behringer has always surprised me with their cost vs. quality. This amp is no exception. The sound quality is crisp and clear but still able to rumble your guts if you want it to. The VT circuitry when turned on adds a nice subtle mellow to the sound much like a real tube. The overdrive channel is very capable of reproducing a nice blues on up to a metal shred fest. The tone control seems to have a very nice curve to it as well.
Features
The built in FX are very simple. Not a whole lot of variation in different levels but a nice addition. They are not going to replace a good pedal, but not bad for something so simple. Aux input and headphone out are nice, but my favorite is the 2 channel line out for direct recording.
Ease of Use
As with most of Behringer equipment this amp is so simple to use it's ridiculous.
Quality
The amp is pretty solid feeling. The cabinet feels very stable and rugged. My only complaint would be the knobs. They are a chrome colored plastic and when you grab one and jiggle it you can feel the potentiometer it's connected to move inside the amp which is not what you really want to feel. I am a little worried that if the knobs get kicked or something falls on them that there is a very good possibility that it will damage the potentiometers inside.
Value
As I stated before Behringer has always surprised me with their cost vs. quality. I have played on equipment that's 10 to 20 times more expensive and although the problem I have with the knobs irks me a little the sound quality of this little 15watt solid state amp is wonderful.
Manufacturer Support
Behringer does have really good customer support. Their reps are friendly and willing to help if you need it.
The Wow Factor
I personally like the look of this little amp. It has very clean lines and is layed out very simply. The best part for me is it doesn't weigh a ton and it does exactly what I want it to.
